WOOOOOW, I love your irons!! So dam beautiful. Are they hard to hit compared to the AP2? What shaft do you have in them..

Beautiful set all around, but you could swap the V-steel and Cleveland for a 909F3 and 909h to make it even better.

Can you please post some more photos of your irons? and maybe do a review?

William,

The AP2 will launch just a touch higher, and be a touch more forgiving. The nod in "feel" and feedback goes to the CB.

I need a little higher launch, and a little more spin, hence AP2. Both WONDERFUL irons!

my 60* is a sandblaster by evo i think. not sure...i never really use it as much as the 52 or 56 so i havent spent the money to upgrade that club. the vsteel i hit very well. i may get a titleist head cover to complete the "look". the cleveland 4 iron is a hybrid from a hibore set i used to have. i use it to hit out of the ruff. a 200-215 yard shot.

as for the irons: you have to be a fairly good ball striker to hit these irons well. the ap2's are not that much more forgiving compared to the cb's. having said that, the cb's feel much better when struck well. very nice feel to them. they are also just a tad bit lighter than the ap2's. you can tell when you swing that they are rather light. the irons are fitted with the S300 shaft with 2* flat lie and standard grips(still deciding if i want to change those). make sure you get fitted for whatever irons you decide to play. makes a big difference when playing.

putter is a yes putter 34" callie model. nothing special just gets balls to drop in the hole.

i do get looks when i go to the range about the staff bag. it makes me chuckle when people look at it. it is a very solid bag. not too heavy but built very well. i got it for half the price since i dropped a lot on the: irons, wedges, driver, sky caddie. this game is getting expensive in a hurry.

Damn, I just love those irons. They would fit perfectly in my bag. You say they are light, when you swing the club do you get the feeling "this is a light club" or is it unstable? I mean, the shaft is not that light... :)

Love your bag btw!

and one more thing, buy a 60 degree!

Thanks for all the pics, I think that I am buying the CB's 4-PW and a 909H 21*.

Yes they do feel light during the swing. Get a PBS and that will offset that feeling when u hit the ball pure. Nothing like that crisp feeling. U can't go wrong with either club. They are both very good weapons.

I would get a 60 but I never hit it. I hit the ball very high with all my irons. I have to work hard to keep the ball down. 56 is plent of loft for now. I may get a 909h .

beautiful setup, except for the sin of having anything other than a sc putter with a set like that.

 joking of course, play what works.

again, very nice.

you can order what ever you want. mixed sets and 5-p, 3-p, 4-p. all clubs in what ever you like. i was not told that i had to get 3-p or that i couldnt mix and match with the mb's, or ap2's.

i got fitted for the irons on nov 15th and i got them dec 22. they are on back order now until next week or later i believe. i did get my 909D3 within a week so that was cool.

for those of you with SC putters......are they that much better than all the rest? i've never even touched one much less used one. i know a lot of people have them and like them. i've already spent enough this year on golf.....this has to stop!! maybe a hybrid and that's it! no more!

If you are really into golf, you should give the SC putters a try. The feel is what I noticed the most compared to my old pings.

Great!

A Scotty is a Scotty, huge difference between a Odyssey and a Scotty. You should get a Cameron California!!

I agree with you, golf is very expensive.

Love the bag i've had 5 camerons and they are well built but i think your Callie is just as good. I have a callie but then picked up a Yes Dawn, you should give that a look. ps love the Puma's i have those in white & grey.[/quote]

haha..pumas are great shoes. that's all i wear. i've been toying with the idea of trying a scotty so maybe i'll get a demo putter from my titleist rep. i do like to swing a heavier putter so i like the idea of the 20g weights of the sc.

def gonna order a 909h 19* with the voodoo stiff flex. 3 wood is a 15.5 and 4 iron is a 24*. the 19* will fit nicely in that gap. i'm becoming a golf junkie and have to buy more and more stuff. hope it gets better over time.

comment about the ball retriever: funny thing is that no one carries one but yet they all want to use mine when they hit the ball in the water or out of reach under some brush. is carrying a ball retriever a big joke that i dont know about?

A 19* 909h will be perfect for you. I will buy one as well. Saw on your signature that you are looking for a SC California! You will not be disappointed.

Haha, yes it is. Having a ball retriever is the same thing as saying you are a bad player. All the newbies have ball retrievers so they can pick up the ball they hit in the water. The good players don't need a ball retriever because they don't hit in the water that often. And when they do, they can afford it. This is how it is in my town. KALMAR!

Dont listen to Williamo if you want to carry a ball scoop carry a ball scoop there is nothing wrong with carrying one. Good players hit it into the water just not as often, and what happens if you stumble upon a brand new prov1 or something thats just out of reach? your loss for listening to someone who told you carrying a ball scoop is a stupid idea. I say if you have one and its not taking up the space of a scotty cameron or something carry it they can always come in handy. great sticks btw.

ha? Didn't you understand the sarcasm? Its a joke man, of course can cay187 have a ball retriever if he want, I don't mind. And it is very good to get some extra balls. I would be very happy if my mates had a ball retriever, then I wouldn't have to spend so much money on golf balls.
