Figured I'd post a new one of these. Have a new set of irons on order with conforming grooves but these have been in the bag over 3 years. Will update when they arrive. Putter is the only club in the bag that can change at any time. Finally found a 3 wood I love and will do a review on it once I get time to sit down and write it out.

Adams 3446F 16* with Fubuki

 

Adams PNT2 20* with Lime Ozik Altus

 

Scratch EZ1 or SB1 4 iron

Anxious to hear your thoughts on the Fubuki in the 3 Wood.

Fubuki feels great and is a good match for that head. Best 3 wood head I've hit for me. Launches much higher than almost anything I've hit, was playing the R9 3 wood and while I love it still a little low, yet doesn't balloon. Very flat flight and now the same window as my driver, hybrid, and most of my irons. Working on some iron shafts so all my clubs reach the same apex, long irons just slightly too low.

I had one of the 3446 3 woods and a PNT, both are great clubs.

Yea I have pretty much all proto Adams 3 woods and bunch of the hybrids. I have both Pro Black hybrids and none I have tried are better than the PNT2 for me. Have the 9033HF and 9033F but both are too low spin and fall out of the sky of anything but perfect lies. Off the tee they are great. BTY prototype was the best 3 wood for me until the R9 and this one. I'm pretty sure my current setup won't change much for many years other than the new legal groove irons that should be done by March. Putter is up in the air.

Isn't the putter always up in the air? I have more putters than all of my other clubs that is counting individual irons not sets...

Great looking bag of clubs! Question, are you hitting the EZ 4 iron because of forgivness or because the trajectory is better?

Trajectory. I actually think I hit the SB1 more solid but ball flight is higher and match the other irons better with the EZ1. They go the same distance but EZ1 stops like an 8 iron.

I ordered a custom 006. Haven't talked to Steve recently as to what the progress is. Should look good though. May attend the social.

I'm also putting with a circle T mid slant Newport SSS, a custom/ tour issue Mills Klassic, and will have a new putter handmade by Jeff McCoy shortly.

I wanted white and lime green. I will be getting one of the limited Masters Bags in white and Masters green. Right now I use an Adams stand bag.

What type of launch did you get with the 9033HF and 9033F? I am interested in these as I tend to have a high launch and spin the ball a lot!

Mid launch and low spin which for me, spin the ball very low, didn't work. I know lots of people who have hit mine and love them.

what fubuki do u have the 73 or the 83 in the 3446F? Do u know when a guy can get the new white/black Scratch bags and for approx how much?

I think Ari said either the PGA show or a little after. So Some time in Feb.

3 wood is actually shafted with a 63 in order to go higher and further. The bags will be available I believe in February and will be a similar price to current bag. Ill have to give more info as I get it.

Putter feels great, very soft. Our putters will be shown at the PGA Show and released for sale soon after.

Just curious, what is the difference between the PNT2 proto head and a typical Idea Pro Gold head? (Besides the obvious drastic difference in head shape)
