If TIGER was an amatuer what would he use?

Driver: 905R/G5/SQ TOUR

3wood: Titleist F3

Irons: Mizuno MP-33/37

Wedges: CG10's/Vokeys

Putter: Scotty

Ball: ProV1/ProV1x

 

What do you guys think?

I dunno, it's really hard to say because you don't know what kind of financial status he would be in and that would impact on his clubs especially being an amateur.

If he was an amature he wouldn't touch a ping driver on cleveland wedges. He would use titleist driver mizuno MB irons and vokey wedegs. Maybe a scotty but probly an anser putter.

I think he would probably use a callaway driver, mac gregor irons, vokeys, ping putter and a taylormade tp ball

id say he might be with a 905 titleist, def cleveland wedges, probably mizuno irons or last years titleists, a scotty putter and a pro v1x. i dnt see why he would use a cobra or a callaway because he is such a traditonalis tand those clubs to not have the traditional look with the face up forward of the hosel, i have a bb 454 btw.

why are you people saying he'd definitely use cleveland wedges? he used vokeys until the last couple years. check his bag from 2003 or something like that he's still using vokeys.

why would he use a taylormade tp ball? i think he'd use a bridgestone b330s but thats just my opinion. if not that the prov1 or maybe his nike ball.

assuming tiger is a ametuer, today, with today's equipment and he doen't get any custom/tour equipment, all retail then i would go with:

 

- driver: titliest 905s or r, nike ignite 460 or the nike sq (i perspnally believe he has seen the light of technology)

- fairway woods: titliest 904 or nike t-60

- irons: mizuno mp-33 or mp-37, titliest 660 or 670, nike forged blade

- wedge: most likely vokey, but i give the nike forged a chance

- putter: scotty

- ball: obviously the pro-v1 family or nike one family

 

its hard to seperate nike and tiger, but i believe nike is just as good as any other company out there. i don't know why, but i just don't see tiger and taylormade.

Tiger has twice tried Mark Calcavecchia's Ping drivers at the Masters and both Times hit them to the top of the fence at the range when his were hitting the bottom of the fence (with Ti Tech and G2).

Probably the top flight xl2000 irons, the adams tom watson 3 pack of wedges, and a scotty cameron futura knock off putter. for a golf ball...probably a ti tech. Who cares. Hes not an amature and theres no telling what he would play, and if he was an amature, he would play one tournament and have sponser offers hanging out his Word not allowed and then he would play all titleist.
