That place often times seems to have tour clubs, I believe they have had a few tmag tour drivers fora decent price too. Not sure whether its too good to be true but knowing what that place has sold including tons of tmag tour stuff (v steel paint breaks r7 tours etc.) I wouldn't be too quick to doubt the authenticity of that club.

Global is legit. Their prices are usually on the high side. The reason it's $499 is due to the 7.5* loft. Not many people can handle a 7.5* driver.

I've got 3--7.5s from the tour and they all play just like a 9.5--nothing special. Plus all I paid was $399 each (NV, V2, graf NT).

8.5 & 9.5 Tours have been selling for a lot more. It's still a 7.5* and the market for this loft is much smaller.

No. It could be Canadian retail, UK retail etc. etc. You really have to know your source when it comes to Titleist tour stuff.

Or you could save yourself $100 and go get properly fit at your local Pro Shop and get a retail 905R. It is the same head. Titleist doesn't make "Tour & Retail" heads if it is the same model designation. Let me repeat, the head you buy at retail is the same head the tour players are playing. Don't buy into the hype of serial numbers.

I dont think anyone thinks that they are different. Titleist 905R tour heads are the same as the retail or they would have to certify them with the USGA. Some guys like the "T", for the Rotella confidence factor, bla bla bla thing.

Come on easyyy, that Rotella seems to know what he's talking about (and the Rotella books are a lot shorter than those by that long-winded Pelz fella).
