Anyone have a Verizon Wireless phone theyd be willing to let go

My phone broke my contracts not up for 4+ months

I have an LG Voyager from Verizon wireless and it is my 5th one so far since having my contract. Everytime I get one of these the vibrator breaks, the phone makes a weird noise, it turns off randomly, the speakers die and etc. I take great care of my phone too I never have dropped my phones, spilt water on them, and always have them in a case! I cant get a new or different model phone because verizon makes you stick with the same model phone. My manufacturers warentee is up on the phone and my new every two isnt until the beginning of August. Just asking if anyone has a Verizon Phone that is fully working and would be willing to get send it to me. I know alot of people just keep their old phones and have them just in a closest or drawer after they get a new one. Pm me if you can help please because Verizon Wirleless has some of the worst customer service ever.

Why does Verizon Wireless have some of the worst customer service ever? It seems as if the service is working but you are having an issue with the phone model. (Not made by Verizon Wireless). When is the last time that you swapped the phone out?

Because they issue new like certified phones if your phone has problems while under manufacturers warranty and yet there are still problems. Its the cell phones carrier to make feedback about phones and let companies like LG know. Also when you get a representative on the line everyone tells you something different. So yes it is the customer service along with the phone company. The actually service you get on the phone is fine if thats what you ment. Im not really trying to get into an arguement if thats what you were trying to accomplish, all I was doing was asking if anyone had a cell phone lieing around they wouldnt mind getting rid of. Im not looking to get into an arguement with you. I am trying to see if you have gone the right route in order to get the phone swapped out. Are you within 90 days of your last swap out on the phone?

Yes I am within 90 days of the last swap out but the problem is they keep giving me like new certified phones. I want a different model because obviously 1 brand new 1 and 5 certified old phones isnt working. Also its a pain to use my minutes every day to get a new refurb.

I have a blackberry curve that is pretty battered, but it works. But what I would recommend (this worked for me) is go down to a store and explain how crappy the phone is and that you want a different type of phone. THey will eventually give you a new phone, probably extending your contract another two years, but if you like Verizon it's worth it.

Or you can add a line for 10 bucks a month and get a new phone.

Unless you want to add 30 dollars to your bill a Blackberry is not a good idea for you. Have you gone to a corporate Verizon store with the phone? They do swap the phone out on the spot there. If you were to go to a newer phone that is similar in style you will now be required to add a data plan of 9.99 monthly on your bill. I don't know what you are looking to accomplish but if getting a phone that works is it, I would go that route unless you don't mind increasing your bill.

Alright going to Verizon Wireless Corperate store tomorrow and gonna stand firm and hopefully some sort of resolution will come of this. thanks for all your help

All I have is a Blackberry Storm that I could offer. But like an earlier poster mentioned, unless you would really use it, the $30 extra a month isn't worth it.

Verizon is overrated and thats why I left. Good luck with the corporate store tomorrow.

Ummm ok? Not really sure how one can over rate a cell company but I'm glad you can.

Easy. They advertise they are the best, but their plans are more expensive, their customer service is so-so at best, and their coverage is not better than anyone else's. People buy into the marketing and will always rate them the highest, when actually they are no better than anyone else.

Their plans are more expensive than?????? Not AT&T!! They are the same and the last time I checked, these are the #1 and #2 carriers in the country

Are you looking to pay for this other phone or just looking for someone to send you one gratis? I'm asking because in all likelihood you're not going to get a newer phone in great condition for free from a complete stranger, and you might have problems with the phone someone sends you.

Here's another thought. What's the early termination fee on your Verizon contract? If it's not too bad you could always do that and sign a contract with another cell phone company. Many offer free phones for new customers. This would accomplish a few things. You'd have a brand new phone under warranty, and you'd leave a provider who has obviously not made you happy due to their poor customer service.

I'm not looking for a free phone, but who knows if someone doesnt use verizon or switched companies they might have a phone of no use even though its nice and offer. I cant end my contract because I share a family plan with 3 other family members and the wouldnt be too happy if I did that. I think I might either just have to keep dealing with the hassles for a couple more months or just go without a cell phone. At this point im confused, dont have many options, and really just trying to find the best thing for me.thanks 4 the help everyone
