Hey All:

Well I was out here a while ago asking about heavier putters seeing that my stroke has been as predictable as a Desert Storm era Iraqi Scud missile. By the way, for all who resonded thanks.

So, there I am out on ebay looking at putters. So I see a bid for a putter and won the auction for $11. I thought the putter if nothing else was worth an $11 gamble and made a bid and won. What did I win you ask??? Dare I say it was the Aserta IVM mallet 35".

Perhaps it's the honeymoon phase but the added weight and alignment aid has really fixed my putting stroke. My stroke feels the most stable it's ever been, and I love the feel of the "ugly duckling". I mean it's definitely different compared to my blade putters but it seems to work. As far as the whole upside down concept of it...I don't think it makes a difference.

If you can put with a beer bottle duct taped to the end of a stick, who cares? If it gets the ball in the hole in least amount of strokes...How about some pictures?

Both you and noodle are right. As long as you can get it to the hole then who cares. It doesn't have a milled face or anything, but this Aserta really rolls the ball. I'll have to add some pics of it and add it to my bag pics.

Hey, like others have said, if it gets the ball in the hole that's all that counts, right? Besides, you saved a ton of money as opposed to buying a Cameron and another thing, people can't accuse you of jumping on the Scotty bandwagon just because seemingly everyone else is! Simp

I'd putt with a hockey stick if it would help. Aserta makes decent putters, but they are falling out of vogue. They still work...
