Is it me, or does the clubface look a bit "closed" at addres

I've checked the lie, but that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Anyone finding more shots going to the hook side? I've only hit it into a net, so cannot tell. Also is the trajectory slightly high?

Trust me they are not closed.

 

Also i think its more of a swing issue if they are going 'hookside', not the clubs fault.

high trajectory??? not so much. freddy couples is a high baller if there ever was one and he plays em. in my short experience with them i thought the flight was extremely controllable.

 

next time i pull a ball i'm gonna blame it on a closed blade.

P.S. I said that they only look closed at setup, not that I'm actually hitting hooks.

 

P.P.S. Wouldn't be too sure about Freddie playing CB's. From alot of recent pics & reports, Freddie only recently switched to custom made BS's which look alot like the TM's he'd been using.

 

P.P.P.S. Don't think you can judge a club by which pro is using it. They're often setup very differently than what you find at the store. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Another answer might be that the stock lie on Bridgestones is 1 to 2 deg more upright than say Mizuno's stock lie.

That might cause more shots going left. Have someone check it out on a lie board
