Looking for a course in October

A group of us from working are heading down to DFW for a conference and staying not too far from the airport. Looking for some recommendations around the $50 range and playable by all handicaps. Myself and another guy are in the 5-7 range but we have a couple coming that are in the 15-20 handicap area. Maybe a links style course would be good for that range? Water Chase Golf Club? Any other recommendations that aren't too far from the airport? Thanks in advance!

coyote ridge is kinda close and is what you are looking for. around 50 on weekdays and not too tough. Haven't played it in a while though.

I was in Dallas last week. The best course I played was Texas Star. It cost $50 M-Th with a coupon that you can get from their website. The course is in Euless, which is west of DFW.
The course was in great shape. Lots of pretty holes. You would not be disappointed playing there.

[b]Grapevine Municipal[/b] is just north of DFW airport. Its in the price range and a great course. Its in great shape and fun to play.

[b]Indian Creek - Creeks course[/b] (in Carrollton) is a little further east, but not too far. Its probably more difficult for the high handicapper, but still a fun course. Stay away from the Lakes course. Condition is never as good, design is a little madening (lots of short, doglegging holes with water everywhere).

I'm not a big fan of Coyote Ridge, but its servicable (feels claustrophic with the houses and apartments).

If you're south of the airport, then [b]Texas Star[/b] is the way to go.

I have heard waterchase is difficult, but never played it.

I'm not sure what the price is during the week (its definitly out of your range on a weekend), but [b]Sky Creek Ranch[/b] in Keller (NW of the airport) is a great course, maybe a little tougher for the higher hand-cappers, but no too bad.
