Sun Mtn Zero-G vs Swift X

Which is easier on the back?

To ease the stress of carrying clubs on my aging back and shoulder, I'm going to a lighter Sun Mountain bag, either the

• Swift X, the one with 2 dividers (like the Titliest Ultra Lightweight stand bag), or
• Zero-G, which looks like the SM 3.5 with an additional hip belt to help absorb the weight.

Which bag do you think would be easier on my back: the Swift (lighter by ~1 1/2 lbs), or the hip belt of the heavier Zero-G?

I carry 75% of the time and take a motor cart 25% of the time.

I can't compare between the two, never having walked with the Zero-G, but the Swift X is an outstanding carry bag. I generally carry 11 or 12 clubs (though 14 will easily fit) and a light load of accessories (balls, tees, gloves, water bottle and rain hat/jacket if bad weather threatens), and it feels like I'm not really carrying anything. The light load means that there's no need for additional structural support in the form of a hip belt, which for such a light bag would mainly be a nuisance, IMHO. If you like to carry a really full bag, might be a different story, I suppose.

Regularly walk with a Swift X.......its a 10! Comfortable and light, durable stand mechanism with great action, excellent pocket layout with a very quickly accessible side pocket for a laser! Have gamed many bag over the years as a dedicated walker and the Swift X is Numero Uno.

I recently looked at the Sun Mountain and the Callaway Hyper-Lite 3.0. I went with the Callaway. 3 dividers and nice pockets. It also has an umbrella holder; living in Seattle it is needed. I don't think you can go wrong with either bag.
