Medicus Driver purchased on ebay

I thought I found a deal... guess not

I received it today (it arrived a while ago though, the shipping was good), and it was a ripoff. It wasn't a Medicus at all; it was a medicus shaft with some random head on the end and a hinge that doesn't hinge well, despite applying some WD40 to it. There were also several small marks of rust on the shaft. All this after he said that it was "well cared for" and "gently used". I swung it several times and no matter how bad of a swing I made, it wouldn't hinge; I purposely came way over the top, or had a very quick takeaway, but no matter what swing flaws I made, it didn't hinge. I got ripped off. I'm now waiting a response from the guy who sold it.

Take a look at the picture too; Medicus dual hinge driver; I get it, it's a medicus knockoff that doesn't work like it should. (I know he mentioned a single inge, but still, everything else was misrepresented)

Looking at the picture, it looks like a Medicus head (mine has the 4 dots in the face like that one). Perhaps the head is different on the one you received? Can you post a pic of the actual head on the unit you received?

 

Also, if you look at the ends of the hinge, where the shaft enters it, you'll see a small allen screw. This is used to adjust the release on the hinge. There's one on both ends of the hinge. Perhaps the seller tightened the screws down to lock the hinge for shipping?
