I got in this afternoon and also updated my G003 with a beta of the next software version. The company seems to be alive and well if they are still pushing out improvements to existing products.

I got on the site no problem earlier this morning, and when I tried just now the site is up also.

Phil, What/where is the new beta software? I don't see it posted. Thanks!

I tried it today at work ~Noon EST and got on OK. Now I try at midnight using Google Chrome and Explorer-7 and no luck; down again.

There is a very strange thing happening now indeed...

When I try to reach the Golf Guru page through my desktop, or any wireless computer I have in the house, using any browser, I get the 'can't find website error'. I have the desktop wired through an Apple Airport Extreme wireless router, the best router available for wireless Apple products.

Now I disconnect the Airport Extreme and run the signal directly from my Motorola cable modem wired to the desktop. Now I can see the Golf Guru page!

Now I reconfigure the cable modem and wireless router, reset and reboot, and the Guru website is gone again!

This is a change since I reformatted my hard drive and re-installed the operation system, something I do every few years to 'refresh' the XP registry.

Some people, myself included, were sent emails regarding assisting with beta testing an upgrade for the 002/003 and/or 004. Nothing earth shattering about the fixes/mods, just a few tweaks here and there.

Thanks Phil. I guess I'll have to wait till it gets out of beta to get it on my G002. Not that it needs anything, as it continues to operate flawlessly.

Go-Rebels, you definitely have a network issue. I've had no problem getting on to gpsgolfguru.com from work or home.
