Would love a good review on this one. Their site says its the best of the best even 20 yards longer. Surely they dont mean longer than their own clubs. If you hit the original cb1 230 then 6 models later you should be hitting 350.
They do say it has all new technology but wow 350?
Somebody stop me.

Also very curious with this one. I absolutely love the XCG3 4-wood that I hit for part of last year from the fairway...would love to see something even longer...will there be a CB4?

I have yet to hit an Exotics fw that I didn't like. That said, I wish they would make the XCG line a little smaller. Not good from the fairway for me.

I suppose but the CB, while a cannon off the tee, is even less user friendly from the turf IMO. I'll still give the XCG4 a go.

I have hit the new XCG4 and thought it was very average. It is a very big head and the ball is very easy to elevate but at the expense of performance of past Exotic designs. Actually the new EXOTICS Trilogy line is quite good. Very solid with A SONARTEC type feel and penetrating ballflight, and a V STEEL meets Warbird soleplate. The CB1 , CB2, AND CB3 are all better than the XCG4.

Isnt the Trilogy for high Hdcappers according to touredge? Im surprised it has penetrating ballflight. Did you find it as long as the others?

Not at all. The Exotics Trilogy has A very neutral bias, and a crisp penetrating ball flight. It is a departure in feel from previous EXOTICS FWS, as its more of a dense solid SONARTEC feel. Distance is on par with the CB line, but the sole plate enables off the deck hits to be easier. The XCG4 was very high spinning and high launching, a very big head.

I'll give a +__ to the love for the Trilogy line (haven't seen the XCG4 yet). Trilogy is super easy to elevate and LONG without being left-biased or too high launching.

Thats another + for the trilogy. Im really surprised its getting good reviews since they followed up with a newer club almost immediately.
By the way where is the Touredge cult thats always on this forum.Does their silence mean their not to happy with the XCG4 or trilogy?

I got a Trilogy 4 wood with the Tour AD stock shaft. I have only taken it out for a range session but I just couldn't hit it well. I was hitting the G15 much better. I'm going to check the swingweight.

I was topping the ball a lot, which I never do with the fariway woods. I'm sure my setup was off since it is 1/2" shorter than the G15.

How does the XCG4 compares to the original XCG size wise?

I'd be curious to see some more reviews as well. Anyone have an idea of the headsize? It's not listed on the website.

TM Qi10 LS 8.25°, Ventus Black 6X, tipped 1”, 44.75”

TM BRNR Mini Driver at 12° (HWF), HZRDUS Black RDX 70 TX, tipped 1", 43.75"

TM Stealth+ 5w at 18.25°, HZRDUS Black RDX 80 6.5, tipped 1”, 42.5”

2023 TM P7MB (4-PW), PX 6.0, +1/4”

Vokey SM10 50.08(F), 54.12(D), 60.08(M), PX 6.0, +1/4"

I dont add my 2 cents in here much but it is always interesting to hear most posts. Something like just bought XXXX cant wait to hit it. Get back with real numbers. Well most of the real numbers are stuck on launch monitor computers somewhere so it is hard to get info that helps. I will just add from my experience so far with the XCG4 3 wood I just got. It has the lower traj 80 gram shaft in stiff. I have played golf for 21 years and never played a TEE or knew anything about them. A buddy who owns a shop in Albuquerque said I should look at them, they are the best fairway woods! So I just said get me one. I already had a really good 3 so I was not expecting that much but beeing the club ho that I have become here it is.

I tested it on a launch monitor against my TM R9 TP with a Fubuki 73 gram stiff shaft and the stock Tour Edge 60 gram stiff.

The taper on the bottom of the club is almost identical to the TM which I really liked and was able to play from tee and fairway pretty well. The Tour Edge club is definately bigger and gives alot of confidence of the tee how it does off the deck???

I have a 6 hdcp and a ss of about 108 with driver 101 with the 3 woods. Both TEE clubs were longer than the TM by about 5 to 10 yards which is of course not the 20 they advertised but I was not expecting their bs to be true. It is however a very solid feeling club that was easy to hit. Both the TEE clubs spun less than the TM. The heavier TEE shaft was the lowest spinning and had a similar traj to the TM but for some reason was longer. I was carrying the TEE's about 230 to 245 with total distances from 245 to 255. The TM was 8 yards shorter on average over 10 shots than the TEE's.

Just my 2 cents but I hit the 3 wood off the tee alot and expect that this will be a great club. Off the deck we will see.

I picked up a 15* XCG 4 with the motore tour 80g last week. Have played 2 rounds with it, and hit it as much as possible. First impressions: very long, great sound, great set up at address. It is a larger clubhead, but it inspires confidence on the tee--for me it gives that mental edge knowing you are going to kill it. off the deck i was also able to get some great shots, and pretty much everything goes straight. Had a couple of nice fades, but almost impossible (for me anyway) to get a concerted draw. I had a couple that moved slightly, but for the most part this is a straight shooter. It does launch very high--higher than i expected when i hit it on the sim, so I am actually thinking about looking at the CB4. Shop didnt have one to hit at the time, but I may be able to trade in if i like it better.

Also, this is kind of superficial, but the headcover...what a trajedy..

I too launch the 15degree way too high. Do you think the 13degree would be the answer to this? Also, I think a may need a stiffer shaft.
