Has anyone hit a heavenwood yet?

Have you guys tried these hybrids yet?

I always thought they looked horrible, but one day, I actually tried them and immediately fell in love. They are ridiculous long and easy to hit...

Anyone have the same experience?

Same experience here. Club pro offered me a 3H/20* to try (he uses the them, also) after I purchased the BB454 from him. Six rounds later, I'm still borrowing it. I suppose I better ante up the $$$s soon.

First round, I thought it weird looking and had mixed results. Afterwards I asked him how to hit it that helped. Following day, I liked it better.

Third and fourth rounds; this club was awesome and I never touched my 5 wood. Fantastic shots from the rough.

Fifth and sixth rounds; took the 5 wood out and used this exlusively, but results were not quite as spectacular.

Over this period, I have hit four other brands of hybrids into the nets and the Nickent 3DX is a close second but I am sold on the Heavenwood. The heavenwood is longer than my three iron, probably because of a longer shaft more than one degree less loft, and no other hybrid can match it at address. I am told that the face is neutral and I do think the Warbird style sole helps in the clumpy rough we have this time of year.

I have a tour 3h with a pro 95x. Friggin awesome club. Get one and even if you have to reshaft it it will not be a disappointment.

I hit it high, straight and far. Probably max out at 250 yards or so. Great hybrid IMHFO.

I also agree on this club, I have the 3H with an IROD Stiff, great combo for me. I tried it several times with the stock shaft and hated the club, with this shaft it hits high, long, and very accurate.

Love my 3H w/Irod but I did have to load up the toe with a bit of lead tape to take away the tendency to hook the ball with it. Now its a great club.

I use my 2H when I use my Callaway clubs, It is a great utility. I have a Rifle in mine and it is as long as you need it to be and very accurate. A can't miss if you are buying one.

i have a 1h (14*) and a 2h (17*) both with fuji banzai's love them. stupid easy to hit off any type of lie. use them as my 3 and 5 woods.....

Heavier head, much better shaft and I don't think it is hook biased at all. Also the pro 95 is .335 and I don't belive the stock head/shaft is .335

Thanks for the info. I did not know about those.

If I had a complaint about this club, it would be the lightness of the clubhead. Kind of feels like it gets lost in the backswing. The specs show them as swingweight D-0 with the RCH graphite shaft. My BB 454 and irons are all D-2.

I have a 2H and hate it although the rest of my bag is Callaway. I do have a hogan cft3 and love it much better than ny Callaway and Sonartec

Really? I switched from the hogan cft3. I thought the hogans werent as forgiving, and I just like the liveliness of the callaway heavenwood. It felt just like my steelhead 3-wood...I knew i wanted it when i hit it.

The hogan felt dead (muted?) in comparison
