Those look sweet! but I've always hated that Cleveland have to put there name on the sole why do they do that. I want Cleveland wedges but I would have to fill in the writing (probably weild the writing they grind off so nice and smooth)

Thanks to Steve Flesh us lefties can find some Lefty Tour Gear :man_in_love: - I've got a Cleveland Comp model that was based of a model that was made for him - face sits open & had the Rat Glue treated - which I've been KILLING. It is the first 460 cc Driver that has worked for me, I got it off a Nationwide Cleveland guy.

 

Great Find - I hear that the CG10's have a great feel, I haven't tried them out yet though.

When I first purchased them, the seller said they were tour. But the finish looks normal. When I started playing with them (during wet weather), they started to rust. That's when I knew they were tour issues for sure.

 

How can you tell if a wedge is Tour Issue or not by the way it rusts?

Let me clarify.... CG10 wedges for the retail market came only in chrome or Black Pearl finish. If the wedge was raw, and hence rusting, it was tour only.

They might have been a backup set or something for Steve but maybe not even that because they don't have FLESCH WOUND stamped on them.

I'm not saying that Steve Flesh played these specific clubs. I was insinuating that without a lefty Cleveland Staffer, like Steve Flesh, tour wedges (such as these) and tour drivers (such as mine) would not exist as they would have no reason to tinker with the retail version - which costs $$$$.

 

That is all I meant by my previous comment. I know Steve Flesh never played with my Cleveland Comp, but I do know the when the nationwide player got given my driver out of the van - the guy told him that it is a replica of the driver that was designed for Steve - which differs from the retail model.

 

I'm just happy that this type of equipment exists - as that was not always the case for us lefties.
