Here it is. Sorry that I originally posted the wrong pic. It is indeed on the Adams site --> LINK

What's the story with the Ti version that you had originally pictured? Is that a tour only or prototype of some sort?

Probably a tour issued prototype of some sort. I grabbed the picture from here when someone requested it, because I remembered posting it in this thread, and hadn't thought that the retail version would be different.

Tried it a couple hours ago at GG. Nice feeling. Not the best I tried, but not the worst either. The G15 feels more solid. Distance was a little shorter than that. Easy to launch and is worth a look. Price is good too. Definately consider it.

Were you guys hitting the Steel face or the Titanium?
Didn't the Ti version was coming out till the middle of the month.

I hit the steel. Titanium should actually fly a little farther, but it's also probably going to be substantially more in $$.

I'm thinking of grabbing the F11 Ti 3 and sticking either a Devotion or WB in it. Just trying to retire my battle worn TM VSteel.

I've been having issues with a certain par 5 that needs to be remedied.

I got an F11 5 wood with the steel face this weekend and it is awesome. I tried it head to head against the R11 fairway and it was much straighter (tried all 3 R11 settings). Distance wise they were about the same but I preferred the feel of the F11 to the Taylor made as it had a hotter face and was easier to hit. This is the first fairway wood to kick my Adams Insight XTD out of the bag which had a slightly hotter face but was far less forgiving. I can't believe how easy to hit this thing is!

hotter face than the fast10? man they're cheap now, even with some nice shafts available. also trying.....to no avail, to kick my vsteels out and i really like the f11 but not the price for now - while the fast10's seem like a steal.

I have the XTD 3 wood at the moment. You really find the F11 that much more forgiving?

I just received my F11 Ti direct from Adams with a Alpha Rip shaft.

The only 3 wood I can compair it to is a titty 904F that I have been using for the past 4 to 5 years and some clubs from demo day.

Looks:

At first I like the way it looked. I have been a fan of the all black shaft since I got my Speedline 9064LS. It is a little larger then the 904F but smaller then the new clevelands (face to heal) but thinner sole to topline then the 904F. The velocity slot does not bother me at all. To me it looks a tad open at address but thats mainly because of how I hit a 3 wood, I hold it that way to prevent me from hooking it.

First driving range session: Matts only, which I hate hitting off of.

At this time it does not seem to come off the face as hot.
It took me several hits to start get the ball off the mat, could be that I was not loose yet. Once I got loose and was hitting the ball well, I tended to hit it really high compaired to the 904F.
To me I seem not to hit it as long as the 904F. That could be because I was hitting into about a 15mph wind.
It did have one thing going for it, its really straight , I could fade it a little but will need to work on the draw.

Sound:

It sounded weird at first but after able 15 to 20 balls I forgot about it. I can't describe what it sound like.

I will be using it on the course to morrow the the first time. I will write a review for thegolf course it a couple weeks. I have big hopes for this club, if it works out it will finish my all Adams bag.

Hit this at Tthe Golf Mart in Mission Valley, San Diego. on their launch monitor it was a monster, 20yds further than everything there, similar clubhead speeds, my best was 302 off the deck w/ a 108 SS. next closest was the R11 at 282. Obviously these are a little further then real world results, but it does feel like a hot faced driver...as advertised. The next $200 i have to spend on golf will be on this!

So I bought the ti version with the Voodoo stiff shaft.

The thing just goes left on me all the time. I normally don't miss left. My swing is slightly OTT and I normally hit a fade with the 3 wood. But with this club I can feel the face closing at impact which sends my ball left and then further left with draw spin. The weighting in this club feels off to me. It feels like it's draw weighted (no I don't have the draw version!).

It feels like all the weight is in the hosel and that's why the face shuts quickly through impact. Does anyone else get the same feeling? I wonder if the steel version feels the same way? Maybe it doesn't because steel is heavier?

Confusing...

I found the same thing. Indoors on the LM, was hitting this thing perfect, but now on the course, everything is left ... sometimes low and to left, others high left. Not a draw, not a sharp hook, but somewhere in between. I'm putting the 85g Grafalloy Epic shaft in there this week to see if some added weight helps at all ... currently I have the off-the-rack Matrix Ozik 7.1 in there which feels too light in my hands and launch is pretty high too.

I read somewhere that this face is 1 degree closed. Now that I look at it I can see that. Maybe the slightly closed face and weighting in the hosel is not helping me? I think I might also be setting up with the face closed because I'm using the slot to aim the club face. When you look closely the face is closed relative to the slot. Well that's how it appears to me anyway.

I'm going to persist for now because I like the feel and the launch is really nice, even off the deck. When I set up for an intentional fade with the face slightly open at address it's almost automatic. It's only when I try to hit the straight one that I get the pull draw.

My friend just bought an R9 3 wood as they are really cheap now. If I can't get the Adams to work for me I might have to go with the R9.

Stock grip seems slim to me. Maybe build up the grip a little. I felt a little too handsy with the stock grip. This could possibly help with your lefts.

If you can get pass the visual of the slot face, this club is definitely worth a look. I hit the F11 Ti version in a demo day and ordered mine the next morning. It's the hottest faced fairway wood I've ever hit. I'm a natural fit for the stock Matrix Ozik shaft that Adams puts in it too, so it's win - win for me.

Just checked and the Adams website does not answer the question. I haven't placed the Ti to the steel version side by side, but I doubt there's any difference. I'll check and get back to you.
