Is there anyone going to the Buick tourney this week? If so is there any chance that someone might be able to get a few WITB photos?

I was there today. Found out first thing this morning that my camera doesn't work.

 

I can tell you that VJ and Camilo were testing new titleist balls. VJ holed one out from about 50 yrds on his first shot. Camilo hit two in the water. The rep told VJ that the new ball was "a little firmer" than the Pro V1x. The cobra rep brought Camilo a new set of blades about half way through the round. The looked really cool. The muscle portion of the blade had two cut outs similar to Taylor Made's TP's, with a design similar to the new carbon cb. I told the rep that Cobra should bring them to retail and he said don't hold your breath...it's hot(temps were in the mid 90's). The only other things that I saw that was really cool was some new bettinardi's. One looked similar to the Mezza Monza but without the insert. There was another one similar to the Scotty detour, except black. The alighnment bar was shorter and appeared to go straight back with two small grey lines on top.

 

Sorry no pictures. It was a surprise to me too.

I also was there yesterday and did a ball survey the best I could. With all the players that came through to the tee I was sitting on, almost 98% were using a Titleist. The other small percentage was very few used the HX, and I saw one TaylorMade made ball being used which was by a Callaway staffer. Now before any of you wonder how I came up with this number, I sat right behind #3 tee box which is a par 3 almost ground level and sat not more than four feet behind the players. I saw every balls name. I also got to shoot the crap with Elk for a while which was interesting.
