Kid brought it in to see how stiff it was. Thing had the Matte Black finish on it. Hits really sweet. I think I found a hybrid to finally buy! It was an 18*. Club was really solid. Shaft came out to rifle 7.1 on our machine.

Was it a Straford HS player? A lot of those guys take lessons at Sienna Planation from Ryan's teacher Neil Wilkins. Shameless plug here but Neil is dear friend of mine that anyone on that side of town I would recommend you go see.

No just the one club. He was ordering a heavier driver shaft for his driver. I know he has a circle T Cameron. I can only imagine what else he has.

You could always dull out the clear coat on the gloss one with a scotch brite or whatever theyre called or a buffing wheel or a light sanding.

Well 7.1 rifle in a hybrid is perfect for me so it performed very well shaft wise. It was the 90 gram one. Swing weight was only D2 and I like a D4 so it was to light. Head was very solid and gave great results as far as feedback on missing or not. I intentionally mishit one and its not as forgiving as other hybrids, but if you dont miss often its a great club. Really like the feel on it.

Ryan is one of the better guys out there.

 

I had a chance to meet Neil during Colonial and walked with him following Ryan during the pro-am. I've been meaning to get down to Houston to get a lesson from him, but haven't had the chance. Actually, figured I'd do it sometime after the temp drops a little and the mosquito's disappear for the winter.

 

Really enjoyed talking with Neil and always enjoy being around Ryan. I've know Ryan's caddy since he was a little kid.
