Bob Bettinardi spends time with Golfwrx!

Pics of his Ryder Cup Putter...

While we were at PGA I had some time to talk to Bob Bettenardi. Bob at the driving range with his son and daughter. He was handing out his newly made putters for the Ryder Cup to all the Ryder Cup players. While talking to him he said there were only a few made and the process to etch the flag in the face was very unique. He told me the specifics but it went over my head. I will make a call and find out the process and report back.

BETTINARDI does truly great work, i own a BIG BEN, but ive never gone over board about his or other putter creations. LET ME SAY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! i saluted the FLAG and almost started singing the NATIONAL ANTHEM. Truly a work of art on the face of the putter. Oh say can you see ?

The putter is awesome!!! There were 12 made for the 12 Ryder Cup players, 1 for the coach and 50 made representing 1 for each state of America. So 63 total. The putter is milled out of 1 block of double aged stainless steel and the face is nano engraved which is a new process that takes a very long time to do. I hope that helps.

Ryan, you can putt with it just like all of the Bettinardi's as the face is flat. I have some more details on the nano engraving that I will post shortly. There was going to be a red, white & blue shaft, but it looked to gaudy. I hope this helps.

That is an awesome putter...I got to know Mr. Bettinardi this summer and he is a great guy. I wish him nothing but the best and continued success.
