All Golf Shoes just plain stink

Anyone with me?

I have 'flat feet'. I have wide feet. I can't have pointy-toed shoes. I don't like shoes with thick soles because I hit thin shots.

Oakleys pinch my toes. Footjoys crush my toes. Adidas are too narrow. 360s are like wearing a vice. Bites are nice, and are waterproof....except when it's wet out. I don't want these pointy toe boxes.

What can I do? Are there any shoes out there for me???? Anyone? What can I wear? Help!

Have you tried Ecco? Extremely comfortable, stylish and very well made.

new balance makes golf shoes that come in all sorts of widths. nike's shoes seem to be a little more box toe'd than others and they come in different widths.

I wear a size 12 EE, and I find that DryJoys fit me just fine, provided I buy the style with the rounded or "cap" toe. Plenty of room to "spread out". Tried the adidas 360's and while they look damned cool, the fold my feet up like an accordian.

 

If my big clodhoppers can fit in DryJoys, yours should be able to as well.

Did you try on different Footjoy models? Footjoy has several different lasts, and each one is available in a Wide model in addition to the regular. From experience, I can tell you that each of their lasts does fit differently.

I too have wide feet. The best fitting for me are Ecco and Callaway. New Balance specializes in wider shoes of all types but the golf shoe styles are a bit frumpy.

New Balance has a new golf shoe line.

Just like their Running Shoes they come in different

widths. That should help with you wide feet.

 

Orthonics help my flat feet as long as I can get a

shoe in the proper width.

I have wide feet and think the nike sp6 wides are pretty good, they make the SP7rt last which is a box toe and pretty comfy.

I'm surprised you have that issue with the 360s. I find them to be a wider fit than normal. I'm a wide in Nikes and the mediums fit perfect with the 360s. They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

Seriously consider giving ECCO a try, you'll look forward to putting your golf shoes on because they feel soooo good!

I have wide feet as well and I love my Hi-Tec CDT Power shoes. I used to wear runner style shoes but I always hated the design.

I've got EE-width feet as well. I'm between a 9-9.5, but I end up buying 10s so that I can have room.

I wore Nike's for a number of years. I've found that most standard Nike's run narrow, but they do make many of their shoes available in wide.

I just picked up a pair of Adidas Player Comfort in a 9.5 wide and they were comfy right out of the box. I have enjoyed them on some hilly courses with a cart as well as while walking 9 holes on a short, flat course. My feet feel fine after a round, and I'd say they've been my favorite golf shoes.

I'm a big fan of EEEE New Balance running shoes, but I haven't seen any deals for their golf shoes.

I had a pair of Eccos once, but they cramped my feet. It may have just been me--or a bad pair, because I've heard a lot of other people really like them.

i'm a big fan of getting orthotics from the Podiatrist. i probably spelled everything wrong. anyway, about 250 $, then i put them in the Gel Fusion from foot joy, or rockport dress shoes, etc... saved my feet big time...

I've got wide feet too, and have just got a pair of Etonic G-Sok. Very comfortable and plenty of room across the toe. I hate those pointy toed shoes too - these are the first "golf" style golf shoes I've owned for ages. Always had to buy the "athletic" style golf shoes.

 

And they're very reasonably priced too. :help:

I've got size 11EEE's and currently loving the comfort of my Oakley Bow Tye II's (wide) model and my Paradiso (wide). Best shoes I've had in ages.
