Zero Friction Golf Tees

WOW!

Just managed to get a pack of the ZF golf tees and all I can say is WOW!

No, my driving distances have not increased that much :wave: but dam, the tee is really lasting. I have since put in 5 rounds with the same tee! Or maybe my driver swing speed is classified as "woose" :help:

I haven't tried the Zero Friction tees, but I have used the Epoch's and they last a long time as well. I have used the same tee now for the last 6 rounds. You can't beat that. It is great not having to buy tees all the time.

epoch tees are brittle compared to the zero friction. zero friction essentially last forever.

I started using the zero friction tees based on another thread here, and they do take a beating. I've gone through 2 in the last year. One broke (I had used it for months) and the other went flying during a drive and was never seen again. Since I bought a 50 pack of the tees I figure I won't need more until I'm at least 120 years old.

Zero Frictions are unbelievably durable. Epochs seem like they're made from ceramic when you compare them to ZF.

 

I seriously think a dozen Zero Friction tees could last you a lifetime.

My only complaint about the zero friction tees are that they are sharp in the pocket. I got sick of getting poked in the leg by the sharp edges.

 

I'm back to good old wooden tees.

You must walk funny or wear tight pants because I have NEVER had any problem with it...Ive had more of a problem with wooden tees stabbing me (they are sharper

Got 5 free ones with a set of Champ Stinger spikes. Have played about 15 rounds and still have 4 left. Very durable, I do find them not as sturdy as wood tees when putting them in the ground on the tee box though, so I do switch to wood tees every now and then.

Get the 4 inch LDA version and you can cover every face depth now and in the future. I also have never had one break. The usually fly a considerable distance behind you though in the 4 inch version as I believe the act like a spring in response to the drive. My brother bought 1000 of them along with 1000 of the wood stingers. One swing and the head is gone on the stingers but 1000 swings and the ZFs are still just fine. I also agree the epoch after a few springs usually one of the ears breaks off if not the shaft breaking in half.

I ALWAY feel like a dumb-a** wandering around the tee box after a GREAT drive...with my head down.

*DAMN, there goes another one. It isn't as bad with the ZF tees, since they aren't as much as the Epoch tees.

 

But still I feel like a total ****** bag. With wooden tees, I would never think twice!

Best tee's out there. I have only broken 1 tee and I even use them on iron shots sometimes. Only thing is that after a wile they tend to bend out of shape a little so you have to try to bend them back straight

I started using ZF tees on the recommendations posted here. GREAT product, especially useful on the range. It's nice to use ONE tee when hitting driver and FW woods, instead of going through half a bag of wooden tees. Also, I've marked two tees, one for Driver and one for Woods. That way I consistently tee the ball at the same height, one variable out of the way.

 

The ONLY drawback I've found is that if you play muni's with "cement" tees, the ZF's bend too much and are hard to get in the ground. I assume I won't be able to use them for winter golf.

 

Still...being able to use the same 2 tees all summer is pretty sweet.

I don't get it....I have tried the tee's, but have we really come to holding on to a tee for a year? It is a tee.....

Ive broke a couple here and there. Some of the courses I play at have shyt tee boxes were its like sticking a tee into cement, a couple of the little prongs have worn or broke too, but thats it. They are a little more flimsy than wood. They do last a long time tho. Good tees.

Agreed the epoch tees are worthless, so please save your cash for the cute cart gals... :help:
