The commercial definitely is well done and makes me curious.

However what I invariably find myself focusing on if just for a moment, is Rocco throwing out his two fingers in victory formation to the side of his body while he talks. It's a bit like Nixon's V sign hand gestures. Love Roc, but it cracks me up.

I see that on vharness.com the new Rocco Mediate and Jimmy Ballard DVD is available. https://www.vharness.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=Connection%20Video

Has anyone purchased it yet? If so thoughts?!

Just ordered a copy $29.99 not bad at all.

Just got the video and enjoyed it a lot. I was disappointed that it wasn't in any order and that they didn't talk about the short game more, but glad that they recorded this for history. Jimmy is near 70 and he won't live forever, there is very little info available on his technique as compared to other teachers.

Having worked with Jimmy since 1988 I value what he has imparted to me as an instructor. My only regret is that he hasn't written a book with all his stories in it, he has held back a lot over the years.

In reply to those who have trashed Jimmy here, there was one negative comment about Stack and Tilt on the DVD which Rocco made. However if we attended a section meeting of any PGA section we would hear considerably more negative comments. The beautiful thing about America is that people can give their opinion no matter what anyone thinks.

Jimmy took Rocco from being out of golf for all practical purposes to within in one hole of winning the US Open battling head-to-head with the second greatest player that has ever lived.

Jimmy might just have it right!

I got my copy and think its great.. he does a real nice job of explaining the short left arm. Also interesting to her Rocco talk what changes he made in his swing and why its better for his back. Not a lot to it but there is not a lot the Ballard common denominators . its a concepts are pretty simple. I only wish he spent a little time on the grip.

I've had the orignal Ballard book since the late 1980s along with Redman, B. Jones, Boomer, Hogan books Been inactive for last 10+ years, and upon re-starting, I've been toe hooking, duck, pull hooking, awful toe jobs etc. I've been making a good turn, but not in postion to get square at impact. Instead of v harness, I took a hand towel, rolled it lengtwise, and placed under both triceps against chest. First shots were shanked, as I was used to much flatter plane. After a dozen or more shots, the club was connected to body at impact= more on line at steep angle, producing low boring risers with small draw. Finish was in balance, standing straight facing target. I checked that the club toe was pointed straight up when arm is paralled to ground for both back and down swings. At the top it feels as though you are in Hogan's postion at top, all compact and coiled. Connection does work, try a towel!!

Slicefixer suggests using an Ace bandage as a training aid to ingrain the feeling of arms/body connection. I bought one a few weeks back, and really started to "get" the feeling of what should be happening, although it's a lot harder to take that feeling out onto the course and make that swing on a consistent basis.

I was on the range yesterday at the John Deere, and noticed Woody Austin using the "Swing Link" device, as well as Kevin Kisner using the glove under the right armpit to work on that connected feeling. Amazing how important that still is, even at that level of play!

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
