Tahquitz Resort or Indian Canyons South???

Hi All

going out there next wekeend and need advice on one of our rounds...
I have tee times for both Tahquitz Resort course and the Indian Canyons South course. I have not played either one, but the price is about the same. Any advice on which one to play??

I live a few miles from these courses and prefer Indian Canyons South over Tahquitz Creek Resort. They are both good tracks but Indian Canyons is generally in better condition, less crowded, more scenic and has a better layout.

do you by chance know anything about Bermuda Dunes? I thought it was a private course but I saw a couple of tee times available on golfnow.com.

I've never played Bermuda Dunes Country Club. I believe that it is a private course.
It is one of our older courses (1959) and it used to be in the rotation of the Bob Hope PGA event.

If you can play it this course has lots of history.

I've played PGA West Greg Norman but have never played La Quinta Mountain. The Greg Norman course was in fantastic shape when I played last summer but the layout wasn't as strong as the other PGA West course I played (Nicklaus Tournament).

One thing to keep in mind is that many desert courses punch greens in June.

You can find out when they will be aerated by going to www.greenskeeper.org. This site also has many reviews of the courses, photos, etc. By the way, according to greenskeeper.org, the Norman course will be aerating June 13th and the Mountain is punching 6/20.

Have a great time...some great deals for desert golf this time of the year at some awesome tracks!
