How much would you guys pay for this club?

Is $70 inclusive a good deal?

Does anybody know the weight of the club head or swing weight on a 34" shaft?

The club is brand new and looks like bronze/brass/or copper. I am pertty sure that it is the commerative version that was produced in 96, as there is ping written in big white letters on the back of the putter head.

Check for the sound slot in the sole of the club. If it has one it is bronze. Barely worth the $70. If it does not then it is copper (if the color is a copperish) and is definately worth the $70.

A year or two ago I was quoted $85 plus shipping for the Manganese Bronze Scottsdale remakes (new), which is probably the one you are describing (Neurotica is bang-on with his description). While the old stock is probably starting to thin a little bit, most of Pings older putters (basically the steel and bronze versions only) are still available through retail outlets. Very good putters in my opinion, with a range of classic designs that should fit most eyes.

My preference definitely lies with the BeCu putters (Anser 4 and Scottsdale are some of my favorite Pings), which can be found on ebay fairly easily, though prices can go upwards of $200 depending on condition--which is also the case with the bronze Scottsdale '96 remake. That was a limited run, and has no paintfill in the cavity.
