Bennington ZN-III Stand Bag

I think my bag search is over. Its the 2011 Bennington ZN-III stand bag. Looks great..great features..great price. Anyone have any experience with this bag? Does it fit well on a riding cart?

This bag looks very similar to the quiet organizer lite that I looked at. At a glance it seems like the design is the same, they have just swap out the quiet organizer top with a 14 way one.

I came very close to buying the QO lite. Good strap and handles, well laid out pockets, and I liked the QO top.

I did not like the weight for carrying, although the one you're looking at will likely weigh quite a bit less.

The bad had some 'bling spots' that I could have done without. Areas with some fake patent leather looking material, others with chrome logo medallions, and some panels on pockets that were made of a stiff plastic, kind of like what you see on the latest gen of staff bags. Not a dealbreaker, but not my preference. Rather save the weight than have some of that stuff.

My biggest concern was the stand mechanism. Of the 3 bags in the store, 2 had a tendency where the legs would catch the garment pocket and not fully retract. If you pulled the pocket back the legs would retract but dealing with it all the time I thought would get old.

Also, the mechanism had a big spring at the bottom and I just was not comfortable with how long that might hold up. If you get a new bag every 2 or 3 years it probably won't be an issue but I usually keep a bag for 5 years or more. I wound up going with a SM3.5 instead, as I've found that they are to stand mechanisms as timex is to watches.
