Which Iron Set Is The Best For My Game?

Ok, I play off a 4handicap and currently play with MP 60's. I am thinking about changing because of the ho I am. I am desiring something with a firmer feel, mid trajectory, and good durability. I want some forgiveness, but also want some workability. Def. want a players Iron. This being said, I am not sure I want to step it up to pure blades. What Would You reccomend?

looks like you already know what you need-- combo set.. forgiveness and playability of the long irons and sharp control on the short irons.. look at the bridgestone irons.. very nice..

695MB and 695CB Combo Set A Good Idea? What about the 735's?

I'm using the titleist 695.mb's and find them great cause there easy to hit and they give a good ball flight, you wont to be carful putting the mb's and cb's together because of the lofts the cb's 2° lower and when you start playing with lofts you muk up the bounce.

 

Go have a look at all the brands cause they all great at the moment I just chose the titleist's cause i like the look of them but really they have all very equal in performance.

As a four you can definitely pull both 695's off. I think it's just a matter of preferance. Are you looking to get away from the Mizzy's b/c the MP32's have the cut muscle?? Nonetheless I think for what you're talking about the 695CB's are money.

Look and see what the strong parts of your game are. I play to that handicap but my short game saves me. If you hit irons well I would look at the Nike pro combo tour. Not as soft as the zunies on miss hits but deffiantly a more boring trajeectory, pure ones feel pure no matter the clubs but if I had to say the nikes have that feel you described of being firmer. 735's are also another good one but you said you wanted a mid trjectory. From what you described I would check out the Nike's, They do not look that good right off the bat but they grow on you real quickly. Note also I have read many revies stating the 695 were a higher flighted iron, that is why they has to weaken the lofts 2 degrees on the 695cb
