Driver Fitting Experts Help

I went to visit my local Golf Galaxy today to hit the Titleist 910 D3 and brought my other two drivers with me. I know that indoor monitors dont give that accurate results but these just dont seem to fit based on my iron distances. I consider my self average in length off the tee. I am a mid 70's golfer, most shots are a slight fade. Any comments from the group on this data is appreciated.

The only thing I would say, is work on increasing your clubhead speed...

The R11 is slightly ill-fitted, spin is too high. The other two are fine, though. I would pick whichever one you hit most consistently on the course.

edit: Totally missed that the numbers were coming out of a simulator. Throw out the numbers and get a legitimate fitting, please.

Your smash factor indicates that you're not effectively transferring power at impact when hitting the ball. A smash factor of 1.50+ indicates great efficiency.

My advice is to work on hitting the ball on the driver's sweetspot.

Considering most folks think a 1.50 is perfection that's a pretty tough standard. But, to each his own.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I really hit the ball pretty well. I usually drive the ball well but lately is seems like it isnt going anywhere. I am long with my irons so its strange. Here are distances i hit irons

I play with a range finder so I know pretty closely how far I can hit my irons.

It must be your attack angle, a steep one is great for iron power but kills distance w/ the driver. Shallow out your driver swing and leave the iron swing allow, you should increase your smash factor. Also, just hit the superdeep, the R11 is one of the worst clubs I've ever hit, so poorly designed except for the white. the 910D3 is an ok club, the superdeep is very good. Also, try some of the tour model Callaways, those rock.

Isn't the R11 the white driver? You make it sound as if they weren't the same driver.

Your numbers don't look correct. Ball Speed divided by Club Speed should equal smash factor. With spin numbers that low you should get more run out than ten yards . You might want to go to another fitter for more precise numbers before deciding.

Yeah those numbers are clearly a little off as ballmark mentioned. I guess you guys are joking or don't know that 1.5 is max smash factor. I've seen tour players who avg. mid 1.4's, and high 1.3's is not bad at all.

Too much bad data! I'd be very hesitant about making any $$$ decisions or optimizing decisions based on those numbers.

Not every tour player hits the ball optimally. That's why they have low smash factors.

his smash factor is crap that's the problem. I saw the trackman sheet tour average is at 1.49 I get 1.40 on a real crap hit ss being around the same

IMHO it sounds like it took the launch and spin numbers from your driver and used them like it was set up for an iron, accounting for the low roll and smash factor. I'd suggest going to a reputable place with a Trackman or some other valid launch monitors.

What machine do most GGs use? Because at my GG it uses the Trackman and aren't those some of the most accurate, espeically compared to the vector pros at GS?
