I have been watching this place come together for awhile now. Just driving by it looks incredible. What management company sent you the pics? I thought I was on the Salish Cliffs mailing list. <BR><BR>Edit: looks like it is scheduled to open in September.

It's a group called Buffalo Communications, part of Billy Casper Golf. Looks like they are going to host a media day before the opening that we are trying to be a part of.

Haven't heard anything on prices yet, but I'll email the guy at the management company I'm in contact with and see if they have prices determined. Considering the location, it shouldn't be horrific. I'd be surprised if they went over $80 for a prime time rate. Not like Scott Oki ownes it or something Then again, I could be way off and it could be $150.

Solid idea. I'll let you guys know when I get info on the specific opening date as well. I'm still hoping to be part of the media day so I can do a write up for my website, but I bet they would dial something in for Golfwrx peeps as well. The more press they can get the better I assume. However that casino could be dangerous...

They have been saying middle september for a while now, but I haven't heard of a solid date since the press release was sent out.

Just got word that Media day for the opening is September 12th so, public opening should be right after that. I'll bring the camera and do write up on it to share. Still trying to figure out what greens fees are going to look like. Sure going to be cool to play a course no one has played yet.

Looks like the opening is set for September 16th. My team gets to play it on the 12th as part of the Media day. Not sure about availability for additional people or rep'n golfwrx. I would suggest reaching out to Buffalo Communication who is managing it. Might have to check with the WRX guys too and rep'n them.

Just found out that Fred Couples will be at Salish Cliffs all day on Friday the 16th, for the Grand Opening. Pretty sweet!

Well Slaish Cliffs released their green fees.............89$! no walking allowed ouch. The championship tees have a 291yd par 3, pretty intense.

I can't wait until they're on golfnow for a half that price.

$89 is crazy... I was gonna go play Gold Mountain in the AM then play there in the afternoon, but I'll just play Gold Mtn on the all day rate.

I think there's probably only a handful of courses in the NW that can price themselves into that.

Playing it tomorrow so I'll be sure to post a lot of pics of the facility and course. $89 is dicey but I won't pass judgement until I've played it. The no walking is interesting for sure. Haven't seen that one locally before.

Just got back...whew, that is a freaking haul! Course is pretty damn amazing. Well worth the $89 from what I experienced. The cart is included in the greens fee and I believe range balls are as well. The driving range has manicured greens to shoot at. Pretty sweet. The elevation changes are great and the bent fairways are fluffy and spongey. Working on getting some pics posted. Some are already up on the twitter feed @golfchops

Anyone make it out to the opening weekend and see Freddy run the clinic? I'd like to hear more reviews of the course if you've played. I'm planning a trip first week of October with a couple buddy's from my pro shop, can't wait to see this place!
