my x-tour 3 iron cracked in between the face and the body of the club, so i called 'em up and they said they'd send a replacement right away. i said cool, you guys are awesome.

 

fast forward 2 days later, and what shows up at my doorstep? and entirely brand spankin' new set of x-tours, 3-PW, new grips, perfect faces. i'm like... nuts they made a mistake...but maybe???

 

so i call 'em up today, and they say...no mistake, enjoy your new set of irons.

 

first i'm :D, then :D...

That is very good to hear, I'm thinking Callaway made yet another customer a loyal customer through they're service. Thank you for posting that. Very timely too--my lefty X-tour proto 7-iron is starting to come apart...maybe they'll make it right. :cheesy:

You're a better man than me . . . if that happened to me, I'd move away, change my phone numbers, email addresses . . . everything so that they couldn't track me down to get their clubs back if it WAS a mistake :cheesy: :D :D

 

But seriously, that's awesome! I've had good experiences with their customer service as well, but no brand new set was sent. (I wonder if there will be a sudden spike of complaints to Callaway about cracked X-tour iron heads:) )

Yes! Their customer service is incredible. My x460 cart bag lining came loose the first round. Called them up, told me to return it to golfsmith and the next day, I had a new bag from Cally.

you could always buy a new 3 iron on ebay or callaway preowned and sell that nice new set for a hefty profit!!

Over the Past year I have been in almost constent contact with Callaway Customer Service, Ranging from Real Problems (Broken Shaft), to Nit Picky issues like the Finish on the X-18's is too weak. Every Single Time that have done whatever they could to make me happy and have gained my loyalty as a customer. Their Customer Service is AWESOME!

I bought my X-18's irons, couldn't hit them at all(had Bertha 96 before them), wrong shaft flex, lie angles, length, called Callaway, they replaced stock shafts to DG Superlights X-100 .5in over standard, new grips, changed lie angles to 3* upright, refinished, and turn around was 5 business days from the day they received them until the time I got them back, 7 days total! All at no charge! When I had problems in the past with my 96 Berthas even when warranty was up they fixed or replaced irons whenever I called. To me they have the best customer service and WILL always have a customer for life! If anyone has any concern with Callaway I'll bet that they would do ANYTHING in their power to help out their customers. Now that's customer service at it's best. One more great c/s story, I had hit my 5 iron, shaft broke, head went flying into a water hazard so I couldn't retrieve it, called them up and they sent me a new one no questions asked.

Couldn't agree more. Bent my X-18 6 iron shaft in June, took them all of 5 days to turn it around back to me completely free. Also, cashed in AMEX points for my X 3 wood. Free upgrade to a Pro Launch 75 no questions asked. They are definitely a very classy and well run organization.
