Ernie els was using or is using the m grind wedge. in the Golf digest issue with camilo on the cover or the buddies issue with to watson and jack ( Not sure which one) in the ernie section he gives instruction on how to hit shots out of tall grass. in the finish position pic his wedge doesn't look like an ordinary vokey. of course not cause its tour but it was spin milled and all you could see was the spin milled logo and the titleist logo on the flange. i reallly think its this wedge.

these wedges are coming to japan retail i believe, kinda like how they got black versions of the original m,v,p grinds

That's the proto Tourstage "460" driver I've been waiting to arrive for almost a year now. Rumor was Maruyama and a few other TS Pro's were trying it out BUT most of the Pro's would rather have the 435 because it's easier to work the ball. Currently a lot of the "player" brands in Japan are being very slow to moving upwards in CC's unlike their American counterparts.

i think this is the second tourstage prototype, cause i have a pic in another japanese magazine, different paint scheme and no weight port either, different prototype designation number as well.

 

so there are atleast 2 completely different 460cc x drive proto heads out there

I had heard the 200 series Vokeys were getting a makeover this winter anyway. Like the look of the 54 sole, not too much bounce or too wide.
