Callaway UPRO mx refund offer

FYI - I returned my device last week after receiving the return package from Callaway. I called the phone number included to check if they received it - 18005077641. They had and now it's a 6-week waiting period. Not a bad idea for you to do the same thing. You might be waiting and it never arrived there.

I'm waiting for my return package. Too bad we have to wait six weeks but at least they dealt with the recall.

I just used the tracking # provided and have a print out from UPS saying it was delivered.

What type of refund do you get? Refund to Callaway only products? What if it was a gift or won in a tournament so you don't have a receipt?

No receipt necessary. You can either get a complete cash refund by check or a larger credit card just for Callaway products. I took the cash.

Mine was delivered by UPS on 8/12 & I havn't heard a thing. Thats 4 weeks & 3 days so I still have 11 days to go for the "6 week" time frame given by Callaway.

I got my refund check in the mail today! Looks like Callaway is giving refunds for everything... Upro mx $218.90, Battery $21.99, Cable $19.79 & Charger $20.89 for a total of $281.57 for everything that came in the box for $199.99+tax! Callaway is paying us extra to return the units.

Just got my refund also. 4 weeks + 6 days total time from mailout of unit and accessories to check-in-my- hand. Upro M\X $218.90, plus case, skin, cable, and adaptor- - - - total $318.96.

For me, the last straw was (again) losing all scores and stats due to a total shutdown, this time on the 18th tee of my round. I had bought the MX in late May, and didn't get to the point of having my Pro Mode courses downloaded successfully and available on the unit until August 1. During that 9-week period I had MANY difficulties with the MX [u]in Basic Mode[/u]...


In retrospect, if I'd chosen to keep the unit, I STILL wouldn't have the ability to access and analyze my stats. And that's IF they'd even be available long enough to upload 'em to UXplore.

Taking care of their customers would be to release a product that works. Ever since Callaway purchased uPlay the service has gotten worse and now they have a product that has major problems. They did the recall to avoid a class action lawsuit. It potentially saved them a lot more money.

...besides I was only joking. That's a ton of work to make a couple of dollars.

PS. I still love my original uPro. still the best on the market.

Got my check today. Because of the fact that callaway stepped up and issued a full refund of more that I paid for the unit I will purchase another one once they get the mx or whatever there coming to the market with.going. Only this time I won't preorder like the mx. I'll wait 6 months or so and let the others who jump on it figure out the problems. I like my sgx but don't think theres anything on the market that competes with the upro pro mode courses.

Returned my unit on August 18th and got my refund check on Sept. 24th.

I paid mine for $175 and got a refund for $280.47. No wonder Callaway is in the red.
