I got an email from Golfnow.com about their weekly 9-hole "league." It's a shotgun start and you get green fee, cart, tax, and a small bucket of range balls. This summer, the courses are Heritage for $25 and Echelon for $29. Sure, there are prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd from Dick's, but if you ask me, $25/$29 is a bit much for 9 hole weekday 5:30pm tee times.

anyone in town this weekend interested in playing a 2 man best ball at wolf creek? it's a 2:00 PM shotgun on saturday. everyone is out of town for mother's day, my parents went to colorado to visit my sister, so i'm staying in atl. i posted a link below, it's a solid deal. $50 for the round with prizes for standard stuff and a $10 skins pool. i'm a 6.5 hdcp right now, so i'll be good for a couple birdies and some pars. let me know.

I need to head up to that side of town anyways, but have some plans to fire up my home brew set up and make some beer that day at some point.

Golfnow has The Frog at $75 at 12:30......I like The Frog, but I don't think it's worth $75.

Bradshaw Farms has a 12:45 for like 50 bucks. Course is in very good shape, have been out there a few late afternoons the last two weeks.

Sounds good.

Bridgemill has a 1:06 for $51 and Towne Lake has a 1:24 for $46 as well.

I am game for either. Played Bradshaw about 2 weeks ago and it was in good shape. Haven't played B-Mill or Towne Lake in a while so not sure about them.

Town Lake Hills looks pretty good.....I live 2 minutes away, drive by it often. Bridgemill I am not sure.

Personally I prefer Bradshaw......27 holes keeps it moving better on weekends.

Tell you what.....if you book something on Golfnow, send me time, course, etc and I will be there. Earlier the better.

Bridgemill: 1:06 and 1:33 for $51.40
Bradshaw: 11:24, 11:40, 12:12, 12:36, 12:52, 1:00 and 1:08 for $49.99

I would still be all for it. I have talked to a few others and they said they would be for it as well, but I don't think anyone has ran with the idea yet. I don't have the time to coordinate it at the moment, but I am willing to help another do it (as much as I can).

What kind of handicaps are we looking at roughly. I am around a 10-12 or so.

i'd be up for a routine outing. i live in midtown and can really do any course within an hour of atlanta. has to be saturday or sunday for me though, gotta make that money somehow.
