Best place to demo clubs in St. Louis

I'm wanting to demo irons on grass and wondering the best place to go... If anyone knows of any demo days coming up that would be great. I'm thinking since we are getting toward the end of the season, there won't be any, but thought I would ask.

My guess would be Golfsmith or GG, but you won't get to try them on turf (or dirt currently). Next thing would be to check with Pevely, Ann Briar, etc to see if they are going to have anymore demo days?

What irons do you want to try out?

I'd like to hit the JPX800 Pros and some MP's... I've hit the JPX's inside and they felt awesome, although I'd like to hit them on grass.... I wanted to hit yours but you swing from the wrong side!

Unfortunately, that works both ways! I cannot hit most others clubs either!

I got your voicemail yesterday and I'll give you a call tonight. I have only hit the MP's and I'd say that you need to be more aware of striking the ball better with them than you would with something like the JPX's.

BTW.I do know a Mizuno rep that I could get his phone number and send over to you. He could help you with finding a place or meeting up with you to get something done.

Mid rivers golf in St peters mo has a golf discount in the pro shop. Their range has gone downhill lately, but its grass.

You can also hit outside at golf headquarters in Ofallon mo. Nice group of guys/girls up there.

The Falls golf club is where I go to the range/play most of the time. They will actually let you demo for a week. If you want to keep it, they just charge your card. Best public course out west in my opinion. The greens are fast, and weren't lost during our 100 degree heat wave.

This is probably not very helpful but I read on here that there is supposed to be a great clubfitter working out of STL named John. Not sure where though.

Do some searching on here to find out. I plan on driving over next time I need something.

John Kelly who operates from ProAm Golf South. He is a poster on here, however I am unsure of his screen name.

When he had his own shop he looked to have a selection of boutique type clubs (Epon, Miura) that no one else in the area would have. I beleive he also had some Mizuno stuff. Don't quote me on all of that though.
