Great irons, easy to get the ball in the air, and very soft feel.

 

A good choice for someone that wants to play a blade but does not feel they can.

 

The Satin finish is great.

i tried the 660 last week and i felt like they are great irons so i ordered them

i use to play 990 and i feel like you can shape the ball easier but they are not really less tolerate on bad shots

these are indeed beautiful, but they SUCK ..I currently play Titleist 670's and even the Titleist Reps don't push these at all to the local golf shops..One of the worst sets ever made by Titleist..Also they couldn't even get the staff Tour guys to it these dogs..

Got myself a set of 660s with TT s300. Don't like the shaft at all, but the iron feels sweet on the range. I bought a set of PX flighted 6.0 to have them reshafted. It'll be interesting how the flighted shaft set will perfom on a "flighted" set of heads. Hope the 3&4 iron's won't balloon. I'll post results when the turf has thawed...

you who say 660s suck are freakin idiots. they are exteremely soft and not blocky at all, unlike most other titleist irons.

I am about to purchase a set of 660s and I was hoping to find some more reviews of these irons. From seeing several members with the 660s in their WITB, I am hoping bump this thread to get some more reviews. I have been gaming the 735s for the last two years and at this point I am ready to go back to a blade set. I have gamed the 690.MB, 695MB, and the Nike forged, and I would love to hear from anyone who has experience with any of these compared to the 660s. Here are some questions I am looking for the answers for:

 

1. What type of ball flight do the 660s produce? Low, mid, or high?

 

2. I know they are blades, but how are they on forgiveness compared to the previously mentioned sets?

 

3. How is the feel of the 660s? I found the 690.MBs to be a little hard and clicky.

 

 

Again, anyone currently gaming the 660s or has had experiece with them please chime in and offer your opinion. Thanks and I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!

The easiest blade irons ever Titleist made! Easier than my cavity irons(Tourstage)

My current irons. I know this is an old thread, but the 660's are worth the time to say how good they are.

First of all the feel is excellent. There is a lot of offset granted, but when you start striking the ball you do soon forget about it! The ball flight will be what you want it to be if you have the skills. They're very easy to shape the ball with. The 660's are possibly the easiest blades to play. They also look stunning. Trust me, if you get the chance to buy a set just get them. What's nice is they're also reasonably rare so not every tom, dick and harry has them

I bought a set of 660s last year from a vintage golf store in Pinehurst. Hit them a few time and liked them, but never felt it was the right time to switch. 
 

Thought I would give them a go this weekend and couldn’t have enjoyed playing them more. Only issue is that they are very weak lofted so they throw off my gapping, but still, great to play and I’m going to game them for the rest of the year.
