That or you could use it to recess really large nail heads while woodworking.

Muckyboy, have you rolled it? Does it work?

I've only used it indoors but for my tastes it is wayyyyy too light. It looks like it is black anodised Aluminium.

It also looks like someone has had some waste chunks of Alu from a machining job and has thought " Hey we could make putters out of these man!" Probably after another hit from their Sneak-A-Toke!!

Hey thanks everyone! I am the inventor of the MxV1 golf putter and the President of MxVGolf. I've read your reviews and appreciate your feedback. The MxV1 putter is precision milled and features Center Strike Technology™ for a more accurate strike at the ball's center of gravity. It offers a true roll, zero backspin. I created this based on the logic that a ball hitting a ball of the same size, will hit that ball at the center of gravity every time (Newton's Cradle demonstrating momentum). I can tell you I have improved my short game (I need all the help I can get) and those of many others with the MxV.

Ugly? Ha. Perhaps. Ugly accurate. You'll be amazed at its performance - and that's not just because I said so. I invite you to take a look at our YouTube channel and encourage you to try the MxV1. As always, you can always email me to discuss the club or for more information. Again, thank you all for the dialog and remember... You get to the green, we'll take it from there. Have fun! Brian mxvgolf.com

No offense, but how are the mods here not shutting this down? I was under the impression that unless the manufacturer is a sponsor, they can't post.

Whats the return/playability on these? Whats the headweight? Has to be really like unless its made from lead? I'd put a security deposit down to try one if I like it I'll buy it but I'd atleast try it and do a review on here since free testing was shot down

Hey brian, I just wanted to say i appreciate your vision and respect the fact that you've implemented it. That alone is no easy task. its SHOCKING to me that anyone on these forums would judge any inventor/entrepreneur's product on looks alone. This is no "uglier" than half of the ping putters, the nike [s]groan [/s]er, drone, the entirety of the Nickent Pipe putter arsenal, and the list goes on. Innovation is ALWAYS hated in the beginning. As a struggling business owner myself. I know what it's like to get hammered by those with nearly zero information. You don't have to like it, want to try it, or even want to see it succeed and are free to offer an opinion. But a little respect is called for regardless.

And in response to the "this should be shut down by mods" take. That is rather absurd. Brian didn't start the thread, he is in here explaining the physics behind the design, and as stated, defending that which likely has much of himself and his resources invested in.

Nothing against BWitt or MxVGolf at all...but when guys like Phil Talamonti isn't allowed to post at all, defending/informing/helping his product or otherwise, I was wondering why the "rules" aren't evenly enforced.

I've wondered the same thing about Tom Wishon, et al.

I know he didn't start the thread. I never said the mods should shut it down. I asked why it hasn't been due to some past precedent.

For the record, i'm all for new products and innovation on any level. I'm even more in favor of accessibility to the designer/owner of that product or technology.

I just don't know why the field isn't even for all.

Well I have no info on what you are referring to. However, if Some joker started a thread that said "Talamonti shafts are no good", I would be all for him coming in and saying "hey wait a minute" But if someone starts a thread that says " I need a shaft for my driver" and he chimes in with "buy one of mine" the distinction is clear. I am certainly NOT suggesting thats what Phil did or has done,( in fact I have heard nothing but good things about his shafts, all here on WRX, so they aren't doing a very good job of denying mention of the shafts in a positive light, were that their aim) I understand why WRX owners reject blatant attempts at sneaking in advert for XYZ product. They are running a business here too. I am just suggesting that possibly, the circumstances vary in this thread from whatever perceived double standard you feel he has been treated with.
