Got a four pack of SOS on Tuesday at Total Wine. Their pricing is the best, $12.99 for the four pack. Some places are selling it for $20, the place down the road from me is selling single cans for $5.50, ridiculous. IMO, this 2/13 batch is one of the best so far. Hag hasn't been in stores for a few weeks, always a great go to. My buddy picked up two growlers of Fuzzy Baby Ducks from NEBCO yesterday and we split one last night. Always fantastic.

Nice FBD is great. Possibly goin down to the brewery tomorrow. I haven't checked to see if they're gonna have bot on for tomorrow. Missed it a few weeks ago. I'm in Southington and the store I goto has sos for 13.99. After taxes it's about 15. I've heard of places breaking up cases into single cans and Sean doesn't want them sold in singles. I can pm you a few stores that always have a ton of hag in stock...if you're down near tworoads my best bet would bev max or mo's. On the 2/13 batch I agree. More hoppy on the back end than the January batch. Did you have the tenner 15 down at nebco? Great single hopped session ipa. Get it while they still got it!!

Hope you were able to pick up bot, looks like it lasted through today. I honestly don't remember if i had FT15, but they're all solid. Yesterday was an embarrassment of riches. Went to a local bar, they had a ridiculous lineup including SOS, maine lunch and another one. I had Lunch before but Another One was really impressive. SOS was even better on tap.

I have heard of it but never had it. I'm not a fan of barleywines. The couple beers I have had from Hardywood have been good.

Backwoods is delicious but I would have had to drink a couple Alpine Nelson. That is some good stuff

Had a Growler of Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin this weekend. It was killer. Not fruity in a sweet, girly beer kind of way. Grapefruit just make the hops sort of pop. Really great stuff.

Today's pickups. The mayflower double ipa is actually very good went to the brewery last summer. Swats if you see these and find it in your area go for it. It's like Maines Another one on roids! Southington wine has it if you're interested and can't find it in your area.


They also have that pallet mallet aswell. Just don't take em all on me!

I haven't seen either of those around here but i'll sure be on the lookout now. Thanks for letting me know about them. I've had 668, my palate doesn't appreciate belgians, unfortunately. Wish it did.

No problem man. The pallet mallet is almost bot like in rarity. They had a good amount of the mayflower up my way tho. Maybe only 3 4 packs of the mallet as of yesterday. Good luck!

So I went to one of my hidden bottle shops tonight to ask about the Sucaba and ended up picking these up instead

 

Now I always ask about the rare stuff, so he tells me they will not be getting the sucaba in bottles but he does mention a local pub has sucaba and 18th anniversary on tap. Now the catch is the bar is a massive seahawks fan hangout. Those that know me know that I hate the seahawks with a passion so for me to set foot into a seahawks bar comes with great pain and misery especially if I have to stare at a 12th man flag while I drink my beer. But Sucaba and 18th anniversary on tap was well worth it. And as a hidden surprise my 3rd beer of the night was a 2012 double DBA. 3 totally :censored2: :censored2: :censored2: :censored2: :censored2: awesome beers was worth me sitting in a seachickens bar for a while. The Sucaba was as described a toffe flavored glass of awesomeness. the 18th anniversary (which I have a bottle aging) is like a stout on acid such a great blend of so many good beers it is hard to describe. The 2012 double DBA is interesting different, but was phenomenal looks like a hard cider in color but the taste and flavor were way more complex
