My swing revisited (Updated with Slicefixer swings and 9-3)

Reposting some new swings in this thread, please take a look and let me know what you think now. Driver swings on post 4. Took down the old videos and put up new ones after adjusting setup and release.

if you're pursuing the SF swing (also what russc and most of this forum subscribe to)...you need need NEED spine tilt away from the target at address. and since you've read the posts....you probably already know that. you just gotta focus on it, exaggerate it when practicing, and get used to that feeling.

your shoulders are almost level, and i really don't see any tilt away from the ball, or hips tilted away from the target either.

i think you work on those things.....and then post another video and a lot of the other stuff will solve itself.

for instance your upper body is in front of/on top of the ball coming through and you sorta gotta chicken wing it and flip to make contact. and there's some arm runoff at the top of the swing that the setup tilt should help stop.

ball position for both clubs could be one ball forward of where you have them too.

post some more vids when you've got the setup down better. hope that helps.

With the driver there is no reverse k. I would like to see you set up with a slightly wider stance,weight %60 on your right foot and your left foot toed out 1/4 turn towards the target with .the driver .Toeing out your left foot in this manner will aid in rotation on the downswing.This changes to a reverse K( left ankle knee and hip socket in a vertical line) and %65 of your weight favoring your left foot with a wedge


You have a disconnect of the arms near impact and a small leverage dump

Suggestions
Place a small nerf ball deep inside your left armpit .Do not drop this nerf ball ball until well into your follow through.This will force your upper left arm to be close to your chest at impact and afterwards

martin chucks "golf pro impact drill"Notice his emphasis on the right elbow /hip connection.Just focus on pivoting through with your arms close to your chest.Start with 8-4 drills,then 9-3 drills, then regular swings.You can use the above nerf ball suggestion in this drill also

Thanks for the reply russ. I'll work on the nerf ball and pro impact drills. With the driver, does that mean there is no spine tilt away from the target, or am I just not attempting to align my left shoulder, hip, and ankle?

I went to the range today, but struggled to get a feel for this. I'm not quite sure how to start the downswing with your lower body yet still move it slow enough that your right elbow has time to get ahead of your right hip to turn everything through together. Any suggestions for this?
