gary player courses are really hard!

well, as far as i can tell i have played 2 gary player courses. Mr. player, i suck at golf. i love you but your courses are just above my lowsy 23~ handicap!!!! i realize from this i really need to take a closer look at the slope from now on, as i shot 99 at one of them and i think 102 at the other. i do have to say his tip of striking a match/ coming down on to a ball does work, if you ever see that on the golf channel!!!!

so there is my rant, i like gary player, he rocks, but him and pete dye too, courses are hard, move UP a tee set!!!! peter.

Love that course. :cheesy: I four putted one of the par 5's, which had a 3 tiered green and the pin on the top tier, the last time I played there. Got on in two and thought I would have a putt at eagle and get a birdie at the least. Had two putts roll back down and off the green when I failed to make it to the top tier. Could have been a five putt, but I holed a 20 footer for bogey after the third putt finally made it to the top tier.

Raspberry Falls is one of my favorite courses in the area. However, if you're a high handicapper, I could see how it could make for a long day. :drinks:
