what ball compares?

a few years ago I started playing Precept Utri tour because for 20 bucks it was an awsome ball for me with plenty of check, this past year I played the Penta and did not like it near as much did not seem to check as well (however it is still a nice ball) what ball that you can still buy would be close to the utri?

Srixon Z-star is VERY close to the old U-tri. Loved that U-tri tour. Of course, the Z-star can still be snapped up but has too be discontinued.

Srixon ZStar is very very close to the U-Tri Tours in terms of feel, and spin. Quite a bit longer, in my experience. And I haven't heard of them being discontinued - the version two model was just introduced in 2011. Don't know that its much different than the original - at least that I can tell.

The ZStar is not being discontinued for 2012 (but maybe a replacement for 2013).

I am always surprised when threads like this pop up as the U-Tri was discontinued 6 or 7 years ago. It was replaced by the original B330/B330S line so the older 3-piece B330S would probably be closest.

Agreed. Something in the Bridgestone line will give you the closest feel. I like the Srixons but they feel "heavier" to me than the Bridgestones.

If I was to guess I think the current model 330 RX-S would be your best bet.

Thanks for all the input, have tried the 330 rx-s didnt like it at all, not really ment for my swing speed

All I can suggest is the normal RX or the 330s.

What's your swingspeed btw?

Whoa! Bridgestone would recommend 330 because you'll be able to compress it. I can't so it feels dead to me.

You might prefer the feel of the 330s. But the RX is not made for you. Then again I wouldn't have said the U-Tri Tour was either...
