Removing a chrome finish

Hello, I searched and did not find anything. I'm a newb at refinishing. Have a Bettinardi bhb3 c and looking to remove the chrome finish to start getting some dings out and put a different finish. Any suggestions on how to do so would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It's a professional job only I'm afraid. Unless you have a vast experience with acid chemicals and electrolysis, I'd forget about doing it yourself at home. Lot's of nasty stuff can go wrong - you don't want to have that ruin your health, or even worse a rather nice putter. Take it to a refinishing specialist instead - once it is stripped down, then you can play around with it a bit if you wish.

No big, I found someone local that will do it for a good price, he does good work (actually has his own line of milled putters that a few tour players are/have played). I can be involved in customizing throughout the process. Thanks for the reply, I'll try to get before and after pics
