NE Ohio player

I've been a lurker around here for a number of years but I thought I would start to get involved. I live in the Brecksville area and work in the Akron area and will travel pretty much anywhere to tee it up, so I am looking forward to getting a few games going.

What I am really after right now is a good clubmaker somewhere in the NE Ohio area. I want some shaft work done and some re-gripping. I'd like to give some work to a little guy rather than GG or somewhere like that. So let me know! Thanks in advance.

I go to murphys golf on state in the falls. If you need regripping done you could come over to my house and I'll show you how. It's too easy. Also there's foxy golf in N canton and portage lakes. PM me if you need anything or want to learn how to do grips.

As far as the clubmaking and regripping go, I can't help you. Adams mentioned the Foxy Golf in North Canton which is where I go for all my golfing needs.

Foxy Golf is a nice shop, also Windmill Lakes in Ravenna/Streetsboro area.

Thanks for the offer! I have regripped my clubs in the past. I am just not really in the mood to do it plus whenever I did it myself I would always find errors that would annoy me. I figure if I get a pro to do it I will be more content.

I'm on the same search you are, haha. It's a little further South, but Lyon's Den in Massilion does $300 leagues (the $300 also nets you unlimited golf outside the league, too). They just sent out an e-mail saying that leagues still have openings. They put me in contact with a couple leagues on a couple nights, just haven't heard back on them yet

I'm also in the Brecksville area and always ready to hit the links. Unfortunately all of my golfing buddies are now spread across the country, leaving me left with a bunch of non-golfing buddies (if such a thing exists!).
