Irons help: RBZ x R11 x RAZR XHL x RAZR XF

Looking for forgiveness and control

I know this is a recurrent question at the forum and sorry about that.

The big issue is that I can't demo these clubs, so I will ask a friend who is going to the USA to buy me a new set of irons.

Following an earlier advice, I looked at the game improvement and super game improvement irons at GD Hot List and narrowed to these 4 models.

Distance is not the main issue. I am a 22 hdcp and use to hit an 8 iron about 150 yds with my RAC OS. Looking for forgiveness and control.

Any advices? Anyone has hitten them all?

Well if you are considering the Razr XF then I assume you have the money to spend on irons that expensive. Quite honestly, those are incredible. If you can afford them I would say those are the best of the lot. I would rank those
1. Razr XF
2. Razr X HL
3. R11
4. RBZ

the R11 is the least forgiving, most workable but the XF is the only one that is forged (w/ a carpenter steel face which definitely gave higher ballspeeds) and the HL's are also very good and super forgiving. But overall, for looks, performance and playability, the XF's take the cake.

Wow... the XF is really expensive... I had not looked to its price!

Lets bring the Titleist to the fight... I have played once with Ping G15 and did not liked the feel...
