Traveling to Orlando for Bay Hill Sunday

I am flying into Orlando on Sunday am and driving straight over to Universal to go to the final round of Arnold Palmer Invitational.

 

I have been to the course before to play, but this is first time going to the tournament.

 

Any suggestions of where to sit or where to go if I don't follow a group?

Hang around the practice area to catch a close up glimpse of Mr. P.

Go behind the tee at #6 and check the outrageous line nearly ALL the players take over that lake.

From behind the tee on 7, you can watch and hear 200 yard 6 and 7 irons, and then step over behind 8 green.

Behind, or next to, the green on 16 to see the majority of the field struggle on a 520 yard par 4. Good chance to huddle around someone trying to get up and down. (which looks impossible, btw)

Approach shot distance on 18 is cool. Everything looks like it going in that water.

Pick up an AM&E putter cover in the pro shop. (if they still have them)

I always end up near tees so I can check out the bags, but you can stop anywhere and see plenty.

#16 has been turned back into a par 5. FYI... As an Orlando native, and having played the course on a number of occasions, this is my favorite tourney of the year. Very jealous, go have fun!
