What am I doing wrong?

Please help!! I've been pulling or weak slicing all season. I'm ready to quit!!!!

You're coming over the top which for you creates and out-to-in swing path. I recommend you to study the ball flight laws. They can be found from this link: [url="http://www.waterfountains.com/Ball_Flight_laws.png"]http://www.waterfoun...Flight_laws.png[/url]

At the moment you're taking the club too much inside during the backswing and because of that you can't drop the club.

My tip: Check your grip and make sure you play with a square clubface. Then go practice with headcovers in your left armpi. That eliminates unnecessary hand action. Just swing to your normal finish and let it drop to the ground. You also might want to try making a little 'pause' at the top of the swing and start the downswing with your lower body instead of rushing for the ball with your arms.

when you lift your arms like that above you in the backswing, with your right elbow flying behind you......and then just turn, you're going to come down over the top every time with a weak slice or pull.

you either need to train yourself to drop your hands straight down 'into the slot' before turning around (think bubba). or you need to get yourself in a better position at the top....meaning eliminating the runoff and flying right elbow by keeping your elbows more together and in front of your chest, and getting your arms across your shoulder line at the top rather than above it. (think mahan)

good drill is to use a foam volleyball strapped in between your elbows. and then feel like the golf swing is simply a shoulder turn back and then a deep left hip and shoulder turn through without any elbow/wrist movement. swing will feel really short, and your hands will feel like they're always out in front of your chest. initial takeaway the club should stay outside the hands much longer too....you're cocking your wrists behind you too early.

need some spine tilt away from the target at address too. right shoulder lower than left, feeling like your head is behind the ball with the left hip bumped out some.
