Houston Golfwrx Outing 2012

I prefer the Saturday afternoon. Augusta Pines or Cypresswood. 05/05/2012 is good for me.

Wednesdays at Redstone sound like a great deal. Let me know when a solid date is found. I work shift work so I am off every other weekend. Also, keep in mind the Insperity is the first weekend in May and the greatest Legends in the game will be teeing it up on Saturday afternoon.

That's right.. I forgot about that... they are playing up in the Woodlands that weekend... Was thinking of going to watch on Saturday... Heck, it is also Cinco de Mayo, so that would make for a long day of partying !!

As far as cypresswood goes, traditions is the way to go. cypress course has fairways stacked next to each other so you spend about 6 holes with "FORE" being yelled at you every shot (well thats a bit of a stretch, but you get the point). Traditions is more secluded and a better track IMO.

Redstone is fun for 30, not for 175. Can't play wednesday's though.

Im glad everyone came out. I love playing Cypresswood Tradition course. It now stands as my number 2 course behing Woodforest at Fish Creek.

It was in really good shape IMO. Fairways and greens were good and the pace of play wasn't bad at all. For $40 (college rate), I had no complaints about the condition of the course.

Check out the Houston I Tour, they have tournaments every few weeks all over the Houston area. If you decide to join, tell them Tony sent you.
