not offended just cofused in a world of $799 drivers, $250 putters, $1400 sets of irons and $199 wedges. the oem's put $1 grips on them and i get your grips are too expensive. i just don't get it. why not the outrage at the oems for ripping off the customers.

 

btw, did you know titleist is going to the no cord victory after what 40 years of the 1/2 cord because it saves them $.50 per club. is this a savings they will pass on to the golf public? it is all about cheap and ad hype.

these are nice grips but even with the golfwrx 10% off, it's expensive. shipping is like $9 and they have a $5 handling charge..yikes.. i think there are a lot of good grips out there but if you want to go exotic, these grips are it.

 

 

I was actually in the site, and was planning to purchase the sample kit and the platinum grip, added the 10% off and shipping and so on and it was $20 per grip - for a total of 3 grips - I like them as much as the next person, but I simply (though I'd love to try one) cannot justify putting a $20 grip on the putter I game - I only paid $60 for the gamer!

 

Yes, anyone can purchase a less expensive grip. But in my opinion, you will not get the value that you would with Gripmaster. I wish I had excess liquid capital so I could purchase on a whim but I don't. I want value for what I purchase and I know that Gripmaster grips offer that. The product quality is there as well as the best customer service in the Golf industry I have ever had. Harry could double what he charges and I would not blink an eye. His hands-on service is worth every penny. I can say this, I will have a full set of Gripmaster grips on my clubs this year (as soon as I can sell my Cameron SD2). Yes, S&H adds on the purchase price and the grips are a little higher than others but they are worth it. Believe me, they are.

You are 100% correct - and it's appalling how the public gets fleeced by the big mfrs.

 

I (sadly) buy most of my stuff in the used market, and actually use prior sales to keep the flow going.

 

Like another poster suggested, if I had the money available - I'd jump on the platinum grip as I have putter begging for something nice, as it is, I have a few winns - so that will likely be the best I can do - at this time.

By the way, let me be absolutely honest here - I think the fact that you are offering what I am sure is a premium product at a discounted price is commendable. Very commendable actually. And that fact should not be mistaken by my original post (the more I think about it, the more I should have kept my yap shut, I again apologize).

Great gesture I love this board, I tried to buy the silver one for $20 on this thread but it was already sold. I was going to slap it on my BO 007 with silver paintfill when it comes. Most of my funds allowed by the wife is going to the 007. I might have to settle for a WINN also

Harry Sewill is no longer part of the Gripmaster company (he was the owner of the US Distributor - GripmasterUSA). Harry started [url=http://www.bestgrips.com/][color="#0000FF"]BestGrips[/color][/url] a while back. These are essentially the same grip with the same outstanding customer service. Drop Harry an email and start a dialog with him. The only grips I will use are grips that I get from Harry at BestGrips.
