Can someone tell the major difference between leather grips and cord? I love cord grips, but I must say these look good. How long do they last? Are they slip-ons?

They are your standard Slip on grips. They last forever. I've played the Cords and I have played these, and I must say I like these a ton more. Unlike the Cords which lose traction over a season, these just get better. It's really hard to describe, but trust me, you won't regret it. LOL

if you are a midsize guy, you have to try the new "gmms" . it is a midsize wrapped grip in the pistol shape with just a hint of a waist. this thing should be illegal but it isn't!

chris, the size of our tour putter grips in both the wrapped and hand laced is patterned after the old ping black or the sc baby t. it is not an os. but is is tensioned for a 58 shaft if you put it on a 60 butt shaft it will be .02 over. if you want to put it on a 60 ok but just don't use any tape. blow it on and you will be size ok.

Chris is right about the longevity. I had a set of grips on my irons for three years

and they were just starting to get the least little bit slick. I just bought a "new"

set of Eye2's and the first thing I did was to cut the grips off and put the Gripmasters

on. Heck, that's the first thing I do with any club I buy. Just wish they made a two-piece

for my long putter.......

I placed an order, a few days ago, for the mid-size pistol Tan. I intend to replace the stock grip

on the Callie putter. I was originally planning on an exotic back-laced white grip, but the mid-size

pistol grip looked good, will probably fit my hands better, and was a little less $.

these are nice grips but even with the golfwrx 10% off, it's expensive. shipping is like $9 and they have a $5 handling charge..yikes.. i think there are a lot of good grips out there but if you want to go exotic, these grips are it.

I was actually in the site, and was planning to purchase the sample kit and the platinum grip, added the 10% off and shipping and so on and it was $20 per grip - for a total of 3 grips - I like them as much as the next person, but I simply (though I'd love to try one) cannot justify putting a $20 grip on the putter I game - I only paid $60 for the gamer!

Please don't misunderstand my comments. I like the appearance of the product, and tried to make that clear. I actually had one (it had been installed prior to my getting the putter it was on). I think the product is great.

 

It is not in my budget at this time and I realize that these grips are something I would like to have but simply cannot afford.

"garage" isn't for sale. copyright issues. one of them will go on my sons tad moore prot for sure. they are cool. probably give the other away. not sure which one yet.

yes our grips are expensive. they are all hand made from natural materials. i make no excuses for the quality, costs or customer service. you get what you pay for!!

 

i was at q school the other day and charlie wo had a $3500 driver. now that is a lot of $'s. funny thing though it had a $2 golfpride grips on it. now that should make you mad. $3500 driver $500 custom putters and $1 dollar grips. just who is rippping you off????

 

for sure put the $1 grip on your $60 gamer.
