Don't just pick out a fragment of my entire post. I said there are those (like myself) that choose to visit both sites with RESPECT, ENJOY the positives of each site, and not necessarily speak up about the things you don't agree with.

Adam has a gripe with BSG, as he was treated like s*** by Todd and company, as were many others of us.

Just because you haven't been screwed by them doesn't mean anyone else doesn't have cause to speak their mind.

I happily visit both sites, and I normally choose to stay out of petty bickering - especially when nobody has done anything to me.

 

So, since I happily visit both sites (and others) and consider myself a member at both sites I would appreciate it if you would spell out exactly what you mean by your post - I don't like what I think you are saying about me and I assume I am simply obtuse and missing your intended point.

Wow that was before my time. That was before Drew Standley was banned the first 2 times and Todd let him back when he found out that Drew was a big time club ho that owns 12 trillion Exxon shares.

 

I've had Exxon since it was Humble Oil. Banned 5 times -- even got another member's acct banned when i logged in with his UserID. I think a siren goes off when a Houston based IP tried to infiltrate the Intellivision server.

The irony of this is several months ago when Todd stated in a Locker Room thread that he only wanted his members posting and participating on his board and he looked down upon those who posted on mulitple sites.

 

You could do a search in the Locker Room if the search function worked.

I very much like the membership of BSG. I wish I could still talk with most of them and read what they have to say. However, I have serious issues with the management of BSG and therefore refuse to support that site with money, posts, or even postive reinforcement of their image.

I don't want to speak for Keith, but I think he's saying that unless your initials are TT, you're probably okay in his book.

 

I think he's also saying that the person who owns BSG is full of their self to think that they are the only person who makes a board/site worth visiting. The members that the owner somehow attracted initially make a site what it is, not the ownership. However, if the owner rules with an iron fist, bashes while saying they are taking the high road, tells others to look in the mirror when he can't fit in his own, and thinks his dog doesn't have fleas when in fact it needs multiple Hart's 2 in 1 collars, then the site goes downhill due to the owner, not the members who stick around wondering what the hell is going on...

Tempting to lock this thread because....well....you know.

 

But it is too funny, I will just have to defer to ownership and enjoy this while I can.

 

Yes, I know the Dusty reference and even remember the great scandal of who ratted on who when proto TM 510s were showing up and apparently there was not enough money to go around. BSG used to be cool. Didn't we all have Zodias once upon a time?

 

Now BSG is so passe that it cannot even make the "Tired" list in "Wired" magazine's December 2004 issue. It's not a competition really, GolfWRX already won.

 

BTW, the search function was probably turned off because it was a favorite hobby of others to bring up old threads and mock what used to be the gospel. As soon as they can figure out away to limit the search to return 'approved' threads, all will be restored.

 

Of all things an IT person has to do, keeping a web server available with those types of traffic numbers has to be the easiest task. A monkey can do it...while playing cards....and aiming a laser pointer at the presenter's pants....and eating a banana.....
