Practice Facility in New Jersey

I'm looking for a good practice facility in New Jersey, preferably somewhere between Somerset and Newark. I'd like to find a place that maybe has some bunkers, chipping areas and putting greens so I can work on my short game. If this doesn't exist, my second choice would be a driving range where you can hit off of real grass. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

Driving range at Rutgers Golf Course has sand, chipping and putting area to the left of the golf ball dispenser. The stations at the range to the right have mats for the full shots.

Charleston Springs (part of Monmouth County Parks) has a big grass range, albeit the tokens are expensive for the amount of balls you get, and a huge short game practice area. I believe you can use it at no charge with paid greens fees or its about 10 bucks to go and just use the practice area. It has what I refer to as 2 short holes, about 75-100 yards, bunkers, fairways, thick cut rough, and a dedicated putting green. Great little facility. I know its a bit past the area you're looking for, but its a great practice area. Its maintained just as well as the courses. Also, you are entitled to use the area if you have a same day greens fee from any county course. Hope this helps

Neshanic (my home course) has everything and more.

Huge grass range with targets spread out every 25yards starting at 50yards.
Several bunker and chipping greens with variable lies... Fairway, rough, etc.
They also have two practice holes that you go out on an hit a variety of shots on.
In addition to the 27 championship holes, they also have a nine hole executive course. It has three sets of tees and plays to a par 32 (holes can range from like 75yds to 350).
You will use every club in your bag for those nine holes.

The practice facility has daily and annual memberships.

I'd agree. Neshanic is probably one of the top practice areas in the entire northeast. If you can't find what you want to practice on there, it's most likely not available. There are others, such as Royce Brook, Galloping hill, Charleston springs, etc all have ok areas as well.

I'm on Long Island, 2 hours east of Neshanic; all I can say is, wish I lived closer. This is a complete practice facility!

[sup]Galloping Hill is right in your area, exit 138 off the Parkway. Union County course. Driving range, sand and chippng as well as putting. They also have a Taylor Made facility (lessons, etc). A 9-hole course and an 18 hole. The 18 hole is especially beautiful in the fall when the leaves are changing but it is a difficult course to walk.[/sup]
