UST Axivcore Green

Anybody play the axivcore green shafts? I have a brand new tour black im going to try out in one or both of my Adams heads and wanted to try the green in my driver shaft and my 3 wood shaft.

 

Thoughts? Or should i just pull the trigger on a GD DI? I can get 2 green shafts new for the price of one GD DI pull

I have played them in the past in both driver (75g) and 3 wood (85g). It's a decent shaft, and a great value for the money. UST calls it a mid-launching shaft, and I would agree with that--certainly not low-launching. Dispersion was probably its best attribute for me; feel was not the greatest but was good enough, particularly at the price. I didn't regret moving on from the shaft when I changed drivers, but I thought this shaft was really exceptional for its price point in a 3W and would play it again for that purpose--nice and tight, good control and a precise if somewhat boardy feel.

I have one and liked it a lot. Good feel for me, a small improvement over the PF v2. Good consistency. I also agree it's more a mid launch shaft. Many mistake it as a low or low-mid due to UST advertising it as lower than the other Axivcore shafts. It certainly may be lower, but not that much. It seemed similar or maybe a touch lower than the kai'li 70 I tried but I actually liked the feel of the green better, the kai'li was a little too wippy for me (only 104 driver ss).

The only problem for me is that it was still a little too high - it got my launch angle into the 15 deg range. I'm playing a rip gamma now. Was planning on putting it up for sale here but haven't gotten around to taking any pics yet.

I had a green in an R9 and found that it gave me a lower flight with tighter dispersion,as mentioned previously.
It is a tip heavy shaft and you do feel the clubhead more than with black for example. I tended to overswing because of this but loved being on the fairway all the time

Its a great shaft, lower launch in the heavier weights. I've got an 85 in my 3 wood and love it. I find it to be a great feeling shaft personally.

I just got the axivcore 79X in my i20 3 wood and it's good.
