Tulsa area golfers?

If any Tulsa area golfers are out there, i'd love to meet some new playing partners. Just moved here last year and just started playing not long before that.

 

I'm a member at Broken Arrow Golf and Athletic Club, but am always willing to play anywhere.

I usually play Emerald Falls or Forest Ridge but am up for playing different places. I just played a tournament at Golf Club of Oklahoma and have to say that it is my favorite course in the area. I've never played at Broken Arrow Golf & Athletic Club but would like to sometime. I know they are having some great deals to join.

Nice, BA Golf club is nowhere near as nice as Emerald or Forrest Ridge, even Battle Creek for that matter....but my neighborhood is literally across the street from the club and for $115/month (no cart fees, range use,1 free monthly guest pass, and access to all of their courses nationwide) I really couldnt NOT join. It actually saves me money on range balls alone, and its nice to get out of the house for a few hours in the evenings to play a 9 holes.

I played at Emerald Falls for first and only time back in April, beautiful track but I got my brains beat in but looking for revenge sometime soon.

Emerald is one of those courses that punish you for not knowing the tricky portions. It pays to play with someone who has experience playing there. That deal at Broken Arrow Golf and Athletic Club sounds really good. My wife and I looked into joining Golf Club of Oklahoma and Meadowbrook CC, but I think I would miss the variety of courses. Now that it's cooler I would be up for playing sometime.

What can you say about Broken Arrow G&C? Do you like being a member there? What are course conditions and pace of play like?

I'm usually available Tues-Fri when my Garage door business is slow. I preferred the Owasso Course over the broken Arrow one. They are both nice courses but IMHO nowhere close to Clary, Emerald, LaFortune, White Hawk, etc. just more of a point and shoot course IMHO. Great deal for those wanting affordable access to practice facilities and course use.

I am ready for it to cool off. This past weekend it was up at 5:45 then to the course and tee off by 7:15 to avoid the heat. Bring on the fall!
